Yeah, it's an old-ish movie, but I think it's one of my most quoted movies ever, and possibly my most favoritest Christmas movie (I am a sick person). I will always love Christine Baranski for wringing every last drop of comedy gold out of her already-funny lines.
"Well, I think this is SICK!"
"Slipper socks. Medium!"
"That is not the spirit of Christmas. The spirit of Christmas is you commit a crime, you go to jail."
The actors who played the heinous mother and the two snickering little kids were perfect, not to mention Judy Davis drunkenly telling Kevin Spacey at Christmas dinner "Lloyd, why don't you eat ME?"
Love this movie. Just had to get that off my chest.

I've only seen it once and that was years ago. But if I saw it come on t.v. I'd probably drop whatever I was doing to watch it again.
That scene where Judy Davis has got them all wearing crowns of lighted candles on their heads while she dramatically (and drunkenly) tells some long-winded fable is one of my favorite movie scenes ever.

"You want to have sex with him, don't you?!"
I love 'The Ref'. It's one of my Christmas movie staples. I love the idea of Glynis Johns playing the villainous mother-in-law because she was so sweet in 'Mary Poppins'.

Oh, hell yes, Glynis Johns!
"You don't have the balls." And a moment of shocked horror passes before even Denis Leary can respond to that. Hee!!

My brother always says this is his favorite Christmas movie. While others list White Christmas or Miracle on 34th Street he prefers the movie about a crook who smells like cat piss ruining a family's already crappy holiday. I respect him for that.

I love this movie! Kevin Spacey and Judy Davis at their finest.
"You know what mom? You know what I'm gonna get you next Christmas? A big wooden cross, so every time you feel unappreciated for all your sacrifices, you can climb up and nail yourself to it."

"They're gookens, not couzens!"
"Excuse me, the corpse still has the floor!"
"I've never heard of this kind of Christmas. Sex and drugs and women being set on fire!"
"And I still say getting laid by an 18 year old linebacker is just what she needs!"
"Grandma's chewing through her gag."

Even though I own this, I'll still pretty much watch this whenever I find it on cable TV. It's one of my two favorite modern-era Christmas movies, along with "A Christmas Story".
