I'm glad to see that some of you like it. We're going this afternoon (Robin Williams either works my last nerve or I really enjoy his stuff, so I'm not sure how I'll feel) because I can't resist the lure of Lewis Black, and mocking the current administration.

I saw this on Friday night with my sister-in-law and my niece and nephew - Marie Antoinette was sold out, so this was our second choice.
I liked it okay. I'd give it a seven out of ten (the kids hated it, but you have to expect that with a movie based on political humor), maybe wait till you can rent it. I loved Lewis Black, and I liked that Robin Williams was more restrained, which is how I prefer him. It was a kind of neat commentary that the very same measures taken to prevent the repeat of the 2000 Election fiasco resulted in just as big of a mess. I also thought it was interesting that when he actually wins, and the results are determined to be wrong, it brought up a dilemma of - okay, he didn't really win because the results were screwed up. However, he's clearly a really great candidate, and probably would make a great president. Do we come forward, or keep our mouths shut , and possibly have a better presidency than we would under the legal circumstances? That was kind of a cool dilemma that was presented, I thought.
