Someone PLEASE tell me why he speaks like he does? Is there an actual speech impediment? Slurring on purpose? Baby talk mixed with gangsta...I can't explain how insane it makes me whenever he opens his mouth.

The reason I thought for the way he speaks is that Sean is a mouthbreather. And the mouthbreathing is the reason why he always seems to have his mouth half open or his tongue hanging out a little.

The female HoHo? Hee! Anyways JHo's M.O. is that she wants to BE Puffy. The bling. The clothing lines. The music career built on quickly put together albums with no real talent invested. Just enough to promote it and get on the charts. I think she learnt most of what she knews from Puffy. All she did was imitate him - and kept it up after they split.

JHo didn't want to have his kids and settle down with him - she chickened and abandoned him when the gun charges and court stuff happened. She hightailed it to save herself and her rising profile because she thought he was going to sink and she didn't want to be around for it. So she started cheating with Chris and turned around and accused Puffy of having been the one who cheated. Ugh!

I'll take Puffy over JLo. But there is a reason they are so similar. She was his apprentice.

I think what turns me off is his thug way and for as much as he's accomplished, his lack of education is very obvious.

As for Puffy being gangsta and uneducated? It's an act. And not even a good one. He's is one preppy little nerd. He likes the gangsta associations. It gives him "street cred" and it's good for business. But Puffy (also like JHo) lived in a nice house in a middle class neighborhood and he went to a private school IIRC. Or was that just Biggie who went to private school. But I do know that when Puffy was working at Uptown he was either in college or had just graduated from college. A business degree.

I hate the way that people like JLo, Puffy etc try to pimp this image of being from "the streets" or from "da hood" when they are so not. And it shows with they way they just play up on stereotypes to seem more "street". Ugh!

He used to just say the odd one line and come in with a couple of "A-uh! A-uh!"'s while Biggie or Kim was rapping. And appear in the videos. Like Suge notoriously said at the Source Awards.

He only started fancing himself for a rapper when he's star rapper Biggie died. I can understand him making a tribute song to Biggie with Faith Though it did seem like cashing in on his friends death. My friend used to watch the part in the "Missing You" video where he's dressed in a white suit, standing in the middle of the highway doing a little dance and say that it looked like Puff Daddy was dancing on Biggie's grave - but I will reserve judgement. He seemed genuinely shocked and upset when B.I.G. died. If not too overwhelmed to still hit the studio with his pain but whatever.

Anyway it seemed after that there was just no stopping the Diddy. He was launching himself as a rapper and making all those songs in which he was rapping. Some of them were alright, but I never saw Puff as a rapper. He just isn't one. It was just Diddy trying to make some mo' money. Artistic merit (and the fact he does not and can not rap or create any proper lyrics) be damned!

But I think he knows this. I don't think Puff has ever pretended he is a real MC or some great hiphop artist. I think he would admit he's just trying to make some music to dance to and he can't freestyle for shit - or write any classic lyrics. I think even the stuff he comes up with has been written by other people and he relies on ghostwriters to help him throw a rhyme together.

I appreciate how hard he works, how ambitious he is. I keep wondering why Kim Porter wont leave him? I think Kim should leave his ass alone. Oops , I forgot , she is a golddigger.

He was aiight with me till he got with J-Ho and started sweating her like a sock even dumping Kim Porter for Ho , JHo dumped him for the dancer was it? And Ms Kim took him back. and he was still talking about he would always love her. I would have cut that MF if I heard that Ho's name come out of his mouth. He thought she was the shit and she didnt want to marry his dumb ass from day one.

I dont get it either Yonkers, personallly I'd took his ass back just for the money and to use him for whatever, Payback for all that J-Ho shit! That may be indeed why Kim took his ass back, just for the loot. We dont know. Or maybe she loves his ass.
