Yeah, it's very "stupid funny" which usually annoys the crap out of me, but for some reason I just got so into this movie. Anything with Bradley Cooper is already starting out in the plus column for me, anyway.

I've never seen the movie but after seeing bits and pieces on google I so get the love. Finally, too, I see the appeal of Meloni. Yes, ok, anyone who has such a good sense of humor about himself, that in itself is sexy.

The first time I saw this, I was channel flipping and hit the movie at the part when Janeane Garofalo is telling Paul Rudd to clean up his tray, and he's whining and stomping around. I was HOOKED.
For me, Paul Rudd SELLS this movie. His double take when Coop comes into the final show at the end of the movie. HA.

That really is about the best scene ever. I don't know how Janeane Garofalo got through it without cracking up. I've seen so many little kids act exactly the same way Paul did when told to do something they didn't want to do.
And I love how mean he is to his girlfriend, but she stays with him anyway because he's hot. And I love the way he kept losing kids in the lake, then would have to push any witnesses out of the van while driving down some back road.

For me, Paul Rudd SELLS this movie. His double take when Coop comes into the final show at the end of the movie. HA. This is the BEST double take in the history of movies, and perhaps in the history of the entire world and universe: LINKThis movie transitioned Paul Rudd from cute and capable, but bland supporting character (a la James Marsden) to indispensable comedic player.

God, I love this movie. So. Much. My roommate and I introduced it to our Irish roommate the other night, and right around the scene of the drug binge in town, he was hooked. "It's always fun to go into town, even if it's just for an hour!" Another favorite scene of mine is when Janeane Garofalo and Joe Lu Truglio are running through the main cabin, trying to find the phone, and knocking everything down in the process - breaking lamps, tipping shelves, everything. "The phone, the phone! Where's the FUCKING PHONE??!?"
Basically the movie is endlessly quoteable, and my roommate and I honestly quote it now without even realizing it... we write in our "gournals", and when we can't think of someone's name, it usually turns into some sort of mangled jewish name, thanks to Janeane Garofalo calling out camper's names in the mess hall.

My friend and I say "gournal" all the time, too! Ah, I love that movie. The relationship between Paul Rudd and his girlfriend is beyond hilarious.

Showalter said on Bravo's 'Watch What Happens Live' that a sequel is a go with the whole cast. Fantastic!
I actually saw this at a pre-release studio screening and was among the few laughing hysterically. The older suits/execs were not quite getting it.

I wondered if something was up when the cast reunited for something recently.
Will the movie be about the "let's meet in 10 years" idea discussed in the first? I hope everyone makes it their business to be on time.
