According to the article, Jen wanted babies and Vince didn't. Maybe that's true, but I read elsewhere that while they were actually dating at first, it was more for publicity for their movie than anything.

So are they officially announcing that they were a couple (even if only for publicity) or are all the stories secondhand?

I think it's US Weekly that's really pushing the break-up story but it hasn't been confirmed by any legitimate source. Maybe it's just another publicity stunt since The Break-Up DVD's coming out soon? But if it's true, I wouldn't be surprised. They seemed more like good friends than anything. I'm sure they'll both move on just fine. I think I'm only sad about Hollywood couples breaking up when there are children involved.

I don't think he and Jen had any real relationship at all. There was a picture recently of him kissing a blonde woman about the same time that Jen was going on Opera to deny that they were over. Seriously, why does she have to deny that they were over? How come every time a tabloid says something mean about her, we get either her doing a string of interviews to defend herself, or her friends trying to defend her for her. I don't get it. And now that there is a picture of him kissing another girl, does this mean that she will do another tour to tout another broken heart?

Jennifer isn't necessarily going on Oprah to deny they're not together anymore. She co-directed a short film or something like that and that's the main reason she's going on there I guess.
