God, he used to be so hot! Don't get me wrong, I still love him and definitely wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers or anything, but I forgot just how hot he used to be. Swingers is and always will be one of my favorite movies!

I just saw Anchorman the other day, and WTF?! It's like in one year Vince went from okay looking(he was hot during Swingers, Lost World), to straight up looking like a drunk.

Vince had a guy level a racist remark at him after his Bday party a couple of years ago.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's department says actor Vince Vaughn received a bloody nose when he was punched by a man outside a hotel lounge in West Hollywood. Vaughn had been celebrating his 33rd birthday when he was punched early yesterday.
According to Sheriff's sergeant Robert Lewis a witness told authorities a man approached Vaughn and made a racist remark. The sheriff's report says Vaughn replied with a flippant, non-racist statement before the man struck the actor. The assailant ran off and was NOT immediately arrested.

A publicist for the actor in movies that include "The Cell" and "Swingers" said that Vaughn did NOT throw a punch when his nose was bloodied

I do like Vince, he is puportedly a very nice guy with friends and family, just not dating material.

And when he wa so young he looked like my last boyfriend so I guess he's my type physically.

I watched A Cool Dry Place again and fell in love with him so much because he was fine and he is IMO a pretty good actor. I still like him but he looks, well, dissipated.

He's very witty and very cool, but I wouldn't date him....party with him, yeah, but never date him.

He came off like a dick in an article he did a few months ago for Jane magazine. Something about him is aging poorly. I hope Jen Anniston is not hooking up with him. She could do much better.

I read that Jane article and thought the same thing. I like his wise guy schtick and he's fun onscreen, but personally I get a vibe like he's the kid of guy who calls women "sweetheart" in a slightly patronizing way.

The magazine headline's that refer to him as "Jen's Revenge" amuse me to no end. Would any man hold up to the scrutiny of being revenge against Brad Pitt? It seems so unfair.

Personally I would never seek carnal knowledge of this man, but I'd love to spend an evening hanging out with him.

From everything I hear about Vince he's an extremely cool and nice guy, except in the dating dept.
It's fairly well known that his sisters love him to death and he gives them many gifts.

Also I like that he can be very self deprecating:

BEVERLY HILLS—Vince Vaughn already knows exactly what his own wedding day will be like: "Very traditional, very small, and very family based. I won't be having 200 people."

Now all he needs to do is find a bride.

"I would really love to have kids and a family," says the 6-foot-5 star of Wedding Crashers, a new romantic comedy opening Friday.

Vaughn, an overnight star thanks to the 1996 indie hit Swingers ("You're so money!"), has been previously linked in the tabloid press with names like Anne Heche, Joey Lauren Adams and now Jennifer Aniston. He denies all, adding that right now "there is no one serious."

It seems Vaughn — once rumoured as a possible replacement for late-night host Craig Kilborn — isn't really that into dating. At least not in the traditional, prearranged way.

"I don't like the feeling of having to go and pick up someone I don't know at their house and then take them to a formal restaurant," the 35-year-old shares during an informal chat at the Four Seasons Hotel. "It's just like that feeling you get when you are younger and your mom makes you dress up and go to some formal function. You just don't feel comfortable."

The most important lady in his life these days is mother Sharon, a former real estate agent and stockbroker from Hamilton, Ont. She divorced the actor's toy salesman father, Vernon, many years ago and now resides in Chicago. That's one reason Vaughn recently traded his Hollywood Hills home for a townhouse in the Windy City.
Vaughn takes another stab at comedy in Wedding Crashers, in which he and Owen Wilson are a pair of divorce mediators who have yet to find a ceremony, or a bridesmaid's heart, they can't work themselves into.

"I just heard the title originally and it made me laugh," says Vaughn, who shares his birthday with singer Reba McEntire and actress Julie Stiles. The actor admits he has only a few rules when it comes to picking up women: "I prefer meeting someone separate from my friends so you don't have any other dynamic going on besides your own."

To prepare for the role, Vaughn took six weeks of ballet lessons at the Actor's Center in Chicago. He was no stranger to the studio. "My mom used to teach dance classes," he says. "When I was younger I went down to the local rec centre and took tap class. It was a beginner class for 5- and 6-year-old girls. I was 11."

Born in Minneapolis, Vaughn was raised in the tony suburb of Lake Forest, Ill. He was the last of his parents' "double Vs" — his sisters' names are Valerie and Victoria; the family dogs were Viking, Vero and Vladimir.

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember from the Old Forum's "Celelbrity Encounters" thread that he was a real dick. He ordered a plate of half fries, half onion rings and threw a fit because it wasn't exaclty 50-50, there were like 10% too many fries or something like that.

Does anyone else remember this? It could have been someone else, I'm not really sure.
