There is now a $cientology kiosk at the Galleria mall in St. Louis! I was there yesterday and saw a big sign that said, "DO YOU HAVE TOO MUCH STRESS?" or something, and I saw the piles and piles of "Dianetics" and I freaked out. It was almost like having a CTC sighting or something. I told my friend to, "LOOK! LOOOOOOK!" and she was kind of like, "Eh," but I was really excited. I want to visit and see the $cieno crazies, but I'm afraid they'll abduct me or something. THere were actually a few people around the kiosk. I didn't know that St. Louis had such a big $cieno contigent that it would warrant a kiosk at the mall! Or maybe w/ the new publicity they're actively recruiting. I wonder if the girl that works there knows about "the incident."

I drive by the Scientology "Celebrity Centre" in Nashville every day. I keep wanting to heckle them, but apparently clams aren't early risers. There's never anybody there when I drive past in the morning. I keep hoping to catch a glimpse of a country music clam, but no such luck so far.

It's like Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. Two tastes that I hate together. Yes, Dr. Breggin supports Tom Cruise. Breggin is a hack, who is self-obsessed. I learned about him when I did my master's thesis.

Apparently, some hard-core $cienos were not happy with Slate's take on L. Ron and Co$ and wrote in to voice their concerns: First off, note how much this sounds just like the rantings of Clambo. You, journalist, have not done your homework, but I HAVE! Second, you have to admire the single-mindedness of a believer, who, when confronted with the hard facts about the sneaky, low-down, illegal and crazy activities of his religion's founder, nevertheless insists that said person is a great contributor to the human race. It's like he completely glossed over everything negative said in the article (which clearly stated everything L. Ron had "done" for religion, health, etc.), sweeping it under the umbrella of Scientology thoughtcrime. Didn't try and refute anything, just ignored it and relied on an ad hominem attack. Clambo must be proud.

Like Thomas Szasz, he considers himself a leading light in the world of anti-psychiatry. Two psychiatrists who have dedicated their lifes criticizing psychiatry. It's often about arrogance. I think these men like to be worshipped.

Now on Entertainment OTnight, former JAG star Catherine Bell is "joining Tom Cruise on the anti-Ritalin crusade". She's a clam, too, isn't she? Yes...another clam who's not acting so she's gotta be doing something with her loads of spare time.

Guinastasia, that article rocked!
I would like to eavesdrop on a Co$ leadership council to see what they really think about CTC's behavior. I don't think all of this public ridicule is what they had in mind...

From Guin's link:
Hee! Xenu knows who Brooke Shields is, and has decided to defend her. Not good news, Clamaparte!
