I know I am addicted to CPMCOG! This afternoon when I heard of Michael Jackson's death on a NYC subway platform, the first thing I wanted to do was to come here, as opposed to CNN or some other news site, because I know you folks would have the real scoop!  ETA: At the time I had no internet access, and home was at least an hour away |

Seriously, in the event of crazy celebrity news, following it here is the only way to go.
How's this for addicted? - while I worry about Dwan firing me, I could always find a new job. But the crippling fear that I could screw up at work and she could BAN! me? That's what keeps me in line.

Same here. I used it as a guide of sorts. Made the ff'ing much easier to get through. I have to shamefully admit following particular celebrity threads when something big goes down and letting everyone else do the dirty work of finding good links. It's just easier to come here than to haunt 7 or 8 gossip sites when I know someone here will instantly have the 411 with a good link. I usually find better links here through other posters than I find solely on my own.
