Holy crap! Ten years I've been hanging out here? Wow! Joined March 27th. I vaguely remember the FT implosion, but I'm fuzzy on the details of why it happened. I was a member of TWoP first, and must have found FT after the forums (Buffy board/banner wars) went nuts. I was banned once, and rejoined TWoP. It was amazing watching the power the mods yielded. I remember loving reading the posts of banned users who would rejoin just to curse them out. They were such humorless tight asses, particularly Wing Chun. I continued to lurk at TWoP out of fear of "re-offending". I was just finding my voice on FT when everything went to shit. I remember actually googling "sites similar to Fame Tracker", and finding this weirdly named site for an obscure royal. I peeked in, recognized a few big named posters, and settled in. I never looked back. This site is my home away from home. First site I check in the morning, and last one I check before bed. Here's to another 10 years peeps! Cheers!  |

Ripley and heyalice, I was banned in that incident, too! I hit my 100th post, then got banned. I sent Wing a note, and never heard back. I gave up Fametracker for half a year, then rejoined under another -- hamster-based -- name. January 28, 2005! I came over from Fametracker.
