Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger, has passed on. He was 82. He did voices on Dastardly and Muttley and The Smurfs and by the way, also invented the artificial heart!
(He has an interesting website but it's beyond my skills to get it to link).

Now it's in the news that John Fiedler, the voice of Piglet, died too.
Howard Morris, the voice of the Gopher ("I'm not in the book!") died less than a month ago. He was also Ernest T. Bass on the Andy Griffith show.
Clint Howard had better watch out! (He was the voice of Roo)

Ernest Lehmen, one of the greatest screenwriters ever, recently died.
