I'll be frank: I think Alex is a pompous ass. But he's OUR pompous ass. I've been a Jeopardy fan practically my entire life and to think of him not gently chastising people on my tv every night is incomprehensible! Exactly! Ken Jennings summed it up perfectly- "I hope some very good L.A. oncologists are getting ready to have their mispronunciations corrected." |

My grandmother had PC. My mother said she looked like she was nine months pregnant at the end, and the last few months of her life were truly agonizing, so I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
My uncle had throat cancer and successfully beat it for 10 years before it traveled to other parts of his body and killed him. I can't imagine being on that kind of rollercoaster ride emotionally for a decade.
Whichever way you slice it, cancer sucks.
I hope Alex finds peace in these final months, and I wish him and his family well. It seems like he has a wonderful family life, and I'm sure that will help him.

This will sound just horrible but my husband called Macaulay Culkin as perhaps next to pass away...this was after we watched Leaving Neverland.
