I disagree that Kay (Keaton's character) wasn't the love of Michael's life. I've actually had the debate with film nuts who want to claim Apollonia was, which is nuts, nuts I tell you! He was in lust with Apollonia. She had a great rack and was a ditz. It was completely different than the relationship he had with Kay. In the beginning of the movie, remember, Kay is shown as being Michael's equal, his ticket to morality: she's smart and funny and good-looking and he has a good time with her. He only later resents her/controls her because she reminds him of everything he was trying to be (a good person) and couldn't escape.

The role I really loved her in was as the wife in "Shoot the Moon". Albert Finney is the cheating husband, Karen Allen is the mistress. There are 4 daughters, (Tina Yothers, Candace Cameron, and 2 others whose names I can't remember.)
I have always wondered if DK has any affection for this film, because on any talk show I have seen her on, this movie is NEVER mentioned in her filmography. She did such a great job in this heavy dramatic role, but it is ignored!

I have to admit, I really enjoy her in Baby Boom. She was perfect in that role, and it's such a sweet movie. Although rather dated in the eighties.
