Rihanna is mixed. A couple of months back in Vibe magazine, Rihanna said that her mother was black, and her father, white.

I was watching Hugh Jackman (Xman) on Martha, and Martha commented how his son looked like him. Hugh didn't really follow that comment with a response. I was under the impression that his son was black and adopted. I have seen photos of him, and he appears mixed but very light complexion. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

Can someone post photos of Nancy Kerrigan's 1st child? I swear everytime I see this kid, I see a mixed child, not a white child. It totally trips me out, how genetics come back into play.

You know my mother has been saying for years that she sees Nancy as looking mixed with maybe some African blood. I personally do not see it, but you mentioning that her kid looks mixed reminded me of that.

Well, her parents are definately white appearing, but Nancy's husband is Jewish. Her husband has curly hair, and the child has hair just like him, but he is shades darker than his "white" parents.

When I mean shades, I mean he's very tinted.

Just to save everyone the trouble...

every lightskin Black female celeb out there is mixed/biracial/multiracial.

Black women in the media are started to become misrepresentated more and more. Steadily being erased by women of mixed racial heritage.

Eva from ANTM has obvious admixtures. The light carmel skin, and eyes are dead ringers for a mixed racial background. She more than likely doesn't view herself as such because both of her parents are probably from the Civil Rights Movement during a time where mixed race Blacks identified and viewed themselves as just Black. Now, many Blacks in this century of recent mixtures choose to identify as multiracial instead of Black.

Beyonce is mixed as well. Her mother is Creole.

I was told by a friend that due to slavery/rape that the majority of black americans are at least 15% white regardless of skin tone. I don't think skin color plays that much into someones racial makeup, but perhaps rather how recent the racial mixing took place? I'm biracial, but I look black (skin color, hair texture, facial features ect.) Yet my cousin who is also biracial looks white. Actually she looks like Topanga from boy meets world which brings this back to topic,
