Celebrity Lookalikes: Who Do You Resemble?

Keep in mind that I'm female.

I've been told that I resemble:

Johnny Greenwood, guitarist of Radiohead (Hmm, ok)
"That guy from Blur who's not Damon" (wha?)
Nick Cave(!)
Geena Davis (erm...)

and my personal favorite----a hybrid of Angelina Jolie and David Bowie.

Now, most of these people are pretty hot, so I'll take it as a compliment. And Johnny Greenwood's kind of girlie-looking, so yeah.
I think the Nick Cave comparison is just because the guy who said it was very very drunk at the time.

Explain that list of resemblances, because I sure can't.

I have been told I look like the group of Brunettes that all resemble Bridget Moynahan. I am talking about Sandra Bullock, Famke Janssen, Ashley Judd, and a little of Liv Tyler thrown in. I can actually believe it since all those chicks do resemble each other in some way. I can see it some what with Sandra but the others, I really do not see.

When I was a lot younger (early mid-teens) in any professional photographs taken of me, I was often mistaken for Jodi Foster. Havent' had that in a while.

In my early 20s I was told I looked like Michelle Phiefer.

I got Sarah Sara Mcglothin for a couple of years in my mid-late 20s (after I'd put on some weight)

Recently I've gotten Cameron Diaz - I don't think I look like her, but I have an Aunt who looks like she is a sister.

Not stars but, there's a double of me who does a lot of partying in SF when I was in college I was mistaken for her a lot. I never met her but a good friend showed me a picture of her at a party and we do look similar. And my mom has told me she worked with a girl who looked so much like me it was eerie.

I have a theory that I have one of those plain/pretty faces that reminds people of 'someone' if that makes sense. My father's gene's are pretty strong. I look like a carbon copy of him and his siblings all look remarkably similar. I think there's a bunch of us out there with one common ho of an ancestor that spread his seed around and we're all related in some way.

I agree with your 'plain/pretty face= familiar' theory, ShawnaLanne, because I have one of those faces too. I get "Hey, you remind me of...!" all the time, and usually I see very little resemblance.
And Jodie Foster and Michelle Pffeifer are both fantastic looking, so your dad must have some pretty good genes!

All my life I've been told I look like Todd Rundgren. And I do. Especially back in college, my school ID photo was a ringer for the back cover of "Runt".

The Heritage website said I looked like Jon Voight with the first picture I tried...never got THAT before!
The second attempt got me Kirk Hammett (better, but HUH?)
Then I tried to trick it. I have a picture with Tod and me standing next to each other. It said I looked like some guy I never heard of named Daron Malakian. The best part? It said Todd Rundgren looks like Kevin Costner.

My dad is a spitting image of Rutger Hauer... I mean spitting, they look like identical twins...It's so bizarre that you can look like someone so completely and not be related somehow.

I look a lot like my dad (adjusting for gender) and for some strange reason, I get Meryl Streep quite a bit (however, that was only when I was thinner). Since I have baby weight on me, I get nada.

The one they said I looked like Jon Voight.

The one that came back identified with Kirk Hammett.

And Todd and me.

I also checked their list of celebs, and decided to give 'em a break, since Todd isn't on their list.

In 9th grade, my chorus class decided I looked like some scag named Barbara Hershey (whom I had never heard of), and called me "Beaches" for the rest of my music career. Every damn member of the chorus knew me as "Beaches," and nothing else for YEARS. God, it me pissed off. And, of course, the more I complained, the worse it would get. I refuse to see that movie out of spite and anger, and I now resent a poor woman who did nothing to me.

Plus, I STILL don't see any resemblance.

A couple of years ago, a nurse told me I looked a lot like Debra Winger, and a teacher has said the same thing. My mom claims she doesn't see any resemblance.
