Are we gonna talk about porn here?
My friend J lives in Oklahoma and I buy porn for him. I have it shipped to me, and mail it to him in a different package because OK won't allow "adult materials" through the mail. That's my way of sticking it to The Man.

My opinion on porn: I have nothing against it and I enjoy it myself from time to time. My problem with it is that women are always shown as dumb blondes (for a lack of a better word) who are totally subservient to men. Of course, showing intelligence is not exactly the goal of porn, physical stimulation is the main issue, but still... the women manage to seem really dumb. So that's what I can't understand about Jenna. She's making great money, talks about female empowerement on her blog, does a great job of running her own business, but still plays a Malibu barbie character in all her movies. Doesn't that bother her?

I count several porn performers among my friends (including a best friend) and find it is absolutely impossible to make any generalizations about their personalities -- some are damaged, some are dumber than hair and others brilliant, talented, warm and charismatic. I've worked in the industry, too, and have never had any moral struggles, since it was never exploitative and we never dealt with unsafe(r) practices. And, for what it's worth, working in the industry diminishes in no way your/my/one's interest in sex. It just diminishes your belief that what you're watching in a pornvid is spontaneous and easily accomplished. Through my work I've met dozens of performers, too, and they are, for the most part, delightful, normal people (some with frighteningly ginormous boobs).

I liked her necklace.
My only (minor) complaint is that all the women, in the movies I've seen anyway, are all, Caucasian, blonde and blue eyed. As an olive skinned brunette I feel left out.

I think Erica Jong (but I'm not completely sure) said "When I watch porn, for about 5 minutes I desperately want to have sex. After 10 minutes I never want to have sex again." That about sums it up for me. I gets so damned repetitive.
I have nothing against porn from a moral standpoint. I just fear that teenaged boys who get their hands on it are just young and naive enough to believe that all a guy has to do is look at a woman and she's falling to her knees literally begging to give him a blow-job. Heh! Probably when these guys get into real-life sex they're shocked to find out they've got to do a little work, too!
That woman pictured above looks like her mouth is frozen in place from giving one too many blow-jobs!

Hah! The photo was chosen from several, and chosen to make me looks as undorky as possible (with limited success). The look on Summer Sinn's face was, unfortunately, the collateral damage from that choice. She signed a promo photo for me with a lovely inscription, which I had posted above my desk. It was not a photo I'd show my mom, however, as she was getting a facial at the time the shot, ahem, was taken.
The vast majority of my work has been in gay porn and I am perpetually amazed by what gets people going. I mean, absolutlely no sex at all can get particular (and peculiar) fans cranked, as long as some weird element is present: unfiltered cigarettes, or dress socks, to name just two examples. Mickey Mouse ears to name a third.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Blowing up balloons until they burst was my absolute favourite, though. Shirtless hunks blowing up balloons until they burst. Period. What early-childhood experiences program people to eroticize that?

This pretty much sums up my feelings too. I've just never found porn that sexy because it all just seems so mechanical and like they're just going through the motions and it doesn't help that in the porn I've seen all the men are really ugly. There's no way I would ever fantasize about sleeping with any of them and I have a hard time buying that many of the women in these porn films would really be that gung-ho either.

Never seen it myself. But two of my friends have mounds of fat gay men porn and fat chick porn. I can understand the fat gay men porn because that friend is a fat gay man, but the fat chick porn had the other friend trying to fuck a fat chick's folds of fat.

I really need to direct ratscabies into this thread. That man has more porn than I've ever seen in my life. I'm pretty sure that he has enough porn to watch a different movie everyday for the rest of his life and never have to see the same one twice. And most of it could probably be qualified as "vintage."
And funnily enough, what is one of the things he gave me for my birthday? "Reign of Tera" - A Tera Patrick video that has her husband, Evan Seinfeld, in it. He thought I'd like the Evan. And I do... in theory. But actually watching the movie? Not so much. I get bored pretty quickly. But all in all, I have nothing against porn - I just find most of it so laughably bad.
.... now where did I put that copy of "Jocks N Cocks 4"?
