What baffles me is that when Lleyton was with Kim he was the complete opposite. They never posed together or gave interviews, he didn't like discussing their relationship with the press. Then, all of a sudden, together with Bec, he turned into Mr.Famewhore, selling wedding and baby pics. I don't know all that much about Bec but remembering how he used to be with stuff like that before it really made me wonder. And I don't think it was just Kim either, they both seemed like they wanted to keep it low profile.
Oh, but little Mia is so cute! And Lleyton seems happy, I hope having his own little family has made his crazy parents back off a little.

Just like how her parents are our Posh and Becks (except way more people give a damn about Beck's skills), with parents like she has I am predicting Mia will be our own little Nicky Hilton at least.

This is going to sound really sexist, but its Bec, she does all the famewhoring and all that, I think he is just there to make it a 'perfect family moment'. Has anybody else heard the rumor that she got pregnant 'to trap him?'

Or Lleton figured out this would be the best way to get some postive coverage and to get more Australian's sympathetic to him- which he really needed/does still need.

I don't know if the intent was to trap, but I think they met at some function, and Bec was announcing her pregnancy within weeks after that. So I think Mia was a bit of a surprise.

Fine by me. He's a Christian virgin -- not inherently bad, but why does this sort of thing need to be announced? He comes across as incredibly impressed with himself -- sooner he's off the market, the better for the rest of society.

I can't believe I actually watched the whole crappy show both Sunday and Monday evening, but that's being sick for you. Anyway, Jessica won me over -- her rendition of Christina Aguilera's Beautiful was fantastic.
One thing I noticed though -- some were so obviously terrible, and yet the judges absolutely loved them. Prime example being Lisa, but Dean and Ricky sucked something fierce too -- I cringed at some of the notes they (didn't) hit.
Also interesting to see how the females seem to be getting kicked off first. I know the first Aussie Idol finalists were both male, but has this been the case with all previous top twelves? I'm assuming that only 13 year old females are stupid enough to watch this show* and waste their money voting for the cutest contestant, but maybe it's because females suck more? They have less range? I dunno, just thought it was interesting.

*Yeah, because I didn't watch the show or anything.
