Since the line has been crossed by him just thinking about wearing that outfit, may I be so bold as to point out that there is absolutely nothing happening down there, not that anything happening down there would make that outfit any more acceptable?

On top of Queer Eye, on top of every stereotypically-homosexual homosexual on every makeover/decor show on Basic Cable, Perez Hilton is riding the crest of an exceedingly annoying trend which has emerged over the past five or so years: if you're gay -- and not just gay but really, annoyingly-stereotypically-gay -- you are somehow imbued with some knowledge or talent with design or inside-entertainment dish. And that you deserve to be on television blabbing your banal, talent-free drivel.

It's a myth, people. Go to any gaybourhood and just look at what people actually choose to wear out in public. It's like they have no friends to tell them "um, hon? No."

I like how they take particular umbrage with this guy. Who landed an online Bravo show because he has such an expert sense of style - after all, he's gay and worked at the Gap briefly.

I haven't seen this manhunt profile I've heard so much about, but would love to. But from what I've heard when he was thin he was doing A LOT of meth and was apparently really into the whole Party & Play scene. I don't know what his habits are now but if you've done a lot of meth and then stop your metabolism can be really screwed causing you to put on weight a lot easier than you ever did pre-meth. Not that I should really be making excuses for him, what with how hard he is on all the young female stars when they gain a few pounds.

The pics of him in the undies are so horrifying to me because, as has been noted, he doesn't appear to have a penis. Not that I spent that much time looking for one, mind you. But, again, he's just so critical of everyone and is SO quick to post the nekkid pics of people complete with comments and stupid little drawings that just really points out his hypocritical, ass monkey qualities.

Of course, I still check his blog every few days because he does seem to get little scoops every now and again and, of course, his stolen pics are sometimes okay.

Not that I'm doubting your sources, Gem Stone, but... um, er, as someone who long ago had Coke Issues, I can say that gaining weight after months/years of drug abuse, and blaming it on "metabolic shift", is an intellectually lazy way of saying "I don't want to tell anyone I eat like a pig and do no exercise apart from walking to the fridge." Hey, I've been there.

The rest of us keep in shape by eating properly and exercising. He can well afford a trainer. And he needs to get one, if he wants to wear those outfits and treat others' physical imperfections so callously.

One day he's going to get punched in the face and very few people will raise an eyebrow. Even fewer will leap to his defense. Most will laugh.

Oh, bstewart, I didn't mean to imply that Perez eats only raw foods and spends several hours a week doing cardio and weight training. I just know that after I finally started eating after a couple years of not eating because of drug use, I gained about 20 pounds in a month. And it wasn't like I was eating huge quantities of unhealthy food. The first 10 of those pounds I put on in a hospital, eating the horrible hospital food. Even now I gain and lose weight much differently than I did before my days of using. I guess I sometimes tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. And I don't know if he ever said his weight gain was because of past drug use. That was just my own little theory. After all, it is pretty easy to gain weight quickly and then have a hard time taking it off.

You're right though, he probably just isn't taking very good care of himself. And you know what? I wouldn't even care about the way he looks if he didn't harp on the looks of others so much. Lets face it, he doesn't look that much different from a large portion of American guys. And I've always been one to overlook negative physical qualities if there are other, overwhelming good qualities (brains, personality, real sense of humor, hell even a charming way with words). I've had many a crush on vaguely unattractive guys based purely on these other qualities.

Gem Stone, I agree with absolutely everything you've said. When you're using and decide to eat less and exercise more, the pounds fall off. Not so easy when you're clean. Ahem.
