True confession time: I get Emily Watson, Emma Watson and Emily Mortimer mixed up in my head. The only way I remember which one is which is to think of Emma Watson as Hermione, and the others kind of fall into place. I get them mixed up all the time and I can't sort them out. I've seen every Harry Potter movie several times over and can't remember if it's Emily or Emma.

The shitstorm surrounding The Last Airbender has reminded me that I've liked Shaun Toub in pretty much everything I've ever seen him in (including movies I otherwise hated). I actually thought he came close to stealing Iron Man from RDJ.

Looking back on this thread from two years ago- The Dark Knight didn't do much for Aaron Eckhart's fame after all. At least Jeremy Renner has an Oscar nom. Agreed. He's one of those "complete package" actors (good-looking, can actually act) and I thought he was fantastic in The Dark Knight. The only notable project I've heard of him being in since was that horrible and generic-looking romantic drama with Jennifer Aniston last year.

I think the industry has now slotted Aaron Eckhart into his generation's "Dennis Quaid" slot: good-looking, can act, but only gets to do the scripts a dozen other names took a pass on first.

I'm a little bit embarrassed about this one, but what about Michael Madsen? I've been rewatching the Free Willy movies for the first time in years(the summer is always my time for nostalgic trips back to various childhood/teen favorites) and, what struck me as funny is that back when I was a kid, I had a huge crush on the kid who played Jesse, but this time around I found myself crushing on the dad (M.M.) and wishing *I* were the mom living in that cute house, with the gorgeous view of the ocean, and the good looking husband. Anyway, he's not so young anymore, but I think it's too bad that other than a handful of movies he's mostly been in a lot of C list sort of movies. He's got the charisma and looks, and a really, really sexy voice in a gruff sort of way.

I'll always think of Michael Madsen as Susan Sarandon's boyfriend in Thelma & Louise ... basically a nice guy but unable to commit when she needed him. It's either that or think of him cutting that guy's ear off in Reservoir Dogs. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
