Why Aren't You More Famous?

So I was thinking tonight about one of my favorite actors (which is saying something because I don't actually like many actors) Clayton Rohner, of the cult series G vs E and also, going way back, the cheesy '80s movie Just One of the Guys. And I was wondering why he's not really famous. He is freaking gorgeous, and he's not a bad actor actor either. But when I tell people I think Clayton Rohner is hot they go, "Who?"

It pisses me off that no-talents like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are famous and should not be, and yet Clayton Rohner is not famous and he should be. Hollywood sucks.

Anyone else you think should get their due, and doesn't? (For talent...or hell, just looks )

Paul Rudd, Nathan Fillion, James Marsters, Patrick Bauchau, Jon Gries, and Lili Taylor for me.

I think they should be top billed in everything. They are all so talented (and Paul, Nathan, and James are so hot!) and have done some amazing work.

But if you just said their names to most people, you'd have to add, "was in..." for people to be able to picture them.

Are you a fan of The Pretender by any chance? I definitely agree with your choices, and while I'm thinking about that show, I would also add Andrea Parker to this list. I'm not sure why she didn't have more success especially after that show was canceled.

I am indeed a Pretender fan! In fact, I'm working my way through the series again on Netflix, and getting angry at NBC all over again for cancelling it.

I know she was on a show with Andy Dick, but I never watched it. It was on a few years, I think.

I just love Patrick Bauchau. I knew him first as Sydney, but then seeing him on "Carnivale", he tore it up as Lodz, and every time he does a guest spot he makes me believe in all the different characters, you know? With some actors I'll always see them as the first character I saw them as, but he manages to surprise me every time.

Ditto on the Nathan Fillion love. Why does every show this guy does get cancelled? Not fair! He's good looking, funny, charming...you name it. I hope he gets cast as Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek.

For some reason, I also thought Justin Bartha would have a bigger career after "National Treasure". But nada.

James Purefoy deserves more as does half the cast of "Rome". Ciaran Hinds should be winning Academy Awards dammit.

I've always thought that Wayne Brady deserves more than he gets. It's not that he's unappreciated (he's got Emmys) or unemployed, but I think he's a tremendous talent and could be doing better than hosting some sixth-rate karaoke show.

He was a much more believable Truman Capote in Infamous than PSH was in Capote, and I hardly noticed Helen Mirren when he was on screen with her in Elizabeth I. I'd love to see get some attention.

No doubt about that. This cast was robbed during this year's Emmy Awards.

I always thought Maura Tierney should have more fame than she does. I like her on TV, but I loved her in Scotland, PA. That movie convinced me she should have Julia Roberts' career.

Christian Kane should be more famous. As it is, only Angel fans know who he is. (Evil handed lawyer Lindsey MacDonald)

IMO, he was the only funny thing in Just Married. It was a shame he was so underused in the TV show Close To Home.

I'll concur (although I think he's been working more on music than acting, and living in Nashville). I used to tape "Close to Home" and I could watch it in 5 minutes, since if he got more than one scene, it was a banner week. Did you see the cheesetacular MTV movie he was in - "Lovesong"?
