Why Aren't You More Famous?

I don't understand why Don Cheadle isn't the highest paid actor in Hollywood. He deserves a few retroactive Oscars too.

I agree with you about Don Cheadle. He should have won the Oscar instead of Jamie Fox. I think Heather Headley, Toni Collette, Sam Rockwell, and Benico Del Toro should be more famous then they are.

Anyway, I think he's great. I've been a fan since he played Josh on As The World Turns and am surprised that he's not more famous than he is. He's so incredibly talented and sexy.

I didn't even know about ATWT - but I just found this movie I had on tape and hadn't watched yet, "Albino Alligator" - and he's in it. And, damn, so frackin' mesmerizing and hot!

Matt Keeslar. He was awesome in Last Days of Disco as a sweet, manic depressive crushing on Chloe Sevigny. I saw him in a guest spot on "Numb3rs" and nearly fell over. Good, evil, he can play both. It helps that he's gorgeous, too.

Rachel Griffiths is another one who's tremendously talented, but not that well known. And Jacqueline McKenzie, who's probably only really known in the US for The 4400, but if you catch her work in Aussie films Angel Baby and Romper Stomper, she's mind-blowing.

And I think Jake Weber is one who should be much, much better known than he is. He manages to be so wonderfully complicated on Medium. I like Patricia Arquette, but I really think it's the family relationships that make the show work, and the centre of that is Jake Weber.

And wordy mcword to Nathan Fillion. He could totally be the next Harrison Ford, if someone would just give him a huge movie or a TV show that didn't get cancelled (goddamn you, Fox). Actually, all the cast of Firefly deserves more. So much talent there.

And Ron Livingston. Why the hell is Vince Vaughn the famous one from Swingers? I'll grant you he's probably the most entertaining in the movie, but he's not been so great since then and he looks like hammered shit. Whereas Ron Livingston is very handsome and is a great actor, so what the hell, Hollywood?

I'm going to stop now, before this just deteriorates into a list of people I like who I can't see all the time because they're not in everything.

Oh yeah--I like him too. He was very charmingly clueless in Waiting for Guffman as well. I kind of like that he's under the radar. Certainly not from lack of talent-he went to Juilliard.
