What about Josh Jackson? I think we all can agree that he was one of the better (best) actors that came out of Dawson's Creek. Granted, Michele Williams has had her moments (mainly Brokeback Mtn and having HL's baby) and let's not discuss the travesty that Katie Holmes has become. JJ really should have had a break out role by now, or at least a role on another TV series.

Totally agree about Oded Fehr. He is so man. I'm so tempted to call him the manliest man ever manned! /fangirl squee.
Sanada Hiroyuki (I insist on the last name first variation! ;D) is awesome. That reminds me, I need to get me those NHK taiga drama (big historical dramas that NHK puts out every year) he was in. Dozens of episodes with plenty of screen time.

In complete agreement with Fehr, Fichtner, and ESPECIALLY Christian Kane. I go to his IMDB page every now and again and I'm always like "Why hasn't this guy broken out yet?" If he's concentrating on his music, though, it makes more sense.
I rented Sweet Land recently and have wondered ever since where Hollywood has been hiding Tim Guinee. Absolutely perfect in his role and adorable, too!
Finally, two actresses from the UK: Ruth Wilson (the latest "Jane Eyre") and Laura Fraser ("Casanova," among other things). Wilson in particular doesn't seem to work all that much (per the IMDB), although she may be doing stage work. They're both awesome, and they're both completely gorgeous, although not in that typical blonde lollipop-with-boobs Hollywood way.

Tim Roth. Yeah, he was on a hot streak for a while there and even got an Oscar Nom but it still isn't enough for my liking. The man is sexy as hell and can act the pants off anyone.
Nicholas Brendon: Somebody please give him some work!!!

Oh and Patrick Wilson completely owns this thread. Unfortunately he's on his way to become a H!ITG.

ITA with Ron Livingston. He is so dreamy and such a great actor.
I feel the same way about Ryan Reynolds. I believe he could be the king of RomComs and even more (a Tom Hanks career projectile) but he's better known now for having dated Alanis and Scarlett and for being the funniest and best thing in a not so good movie/show (Waiting, Van Wilder, Two Guys & a Girl). He needs a big hit RomCom. Or me. Either way.
ita: I just looked at his IMDB upcoming projects and he's got 3 movies coming out. Fingers crossed!!

Auroranorth! Right there with ya. So funny you should mention LFN. My husband and I have been renting the DVDs of past seasons of 24 and I have mentioned to him that most of the people who make 24 made LFN. Then, this weekend, I made him watch the first 2 eps of LFN. I think he liked it ok. Or maybe he just wanted me to shut the hell up.

I just love Patrick Bauchau. I knew him first as Sydney, but then seeing him on "Carnivale", he tore it up as Lodz, and every time he does a guest spot he makes me believe in all the different characters, you know? With some actors I'll always see them as the first character I saw them as, but he manages to surprise me every time. The entire cast of Carnivale was amazing. Especially Clancy Brown (Brother Justin), and Carla Gallo (Libby Dreifus) who according to IMDB was last credited as 'Period Blood Girl' in SuperbadI also love Leslie Grossman who played Mary Cherry in the teen drama Popular

I always thought that Daniel Goddard, who starred as Dar in the syndicated "Beastmaster" series would go places. Apparently he's been on "The Young and the Restless" as of late. He's gorgeous, a good actor, and seems really nice and intelligent from his interview in the DVD extras. Back in the summer of '97 when the series "Roar" was on Fox, I became intrigued with the young Heath Ledger even though I'm usually not into blond men, and of course he's gone on to fame and fortune. I kind of thought that Goddard would have a similar fate going from cheesy adventure series to serious actor.
