Is the movie with ScarJo any good? Is it true to the known facts?

The movie is crapity crap crap. I also have problems with the book it was based on. The writer, whose name escapes me, posits that Elizabeth Black couldn't have sex because of anatomy issues. As the critics pointed out, she had a living mother, sisters and hometown doctor who never mentioned any such problem.
I get angry about the move specially. Short was forced to eat human shit, and was tortured brutally while alive. I hate how that movie using her murder as a backdrop to the "romantic world of film noir". Misogynistic crap.

My British mother still clearly remembers the Moors murders. When Lord Longford campaigned to get Myra Hindley released, Mum was furious and called him a "stupid do-gooder son-of-a-bitch".
The worst of that sad, horrible case was the description of the audio tape they made of poor little Lesley Ann Downey. My daughter's about the same age, and reading about it made me sick.

Dragging this thread back up after watching the movie See No Evil: The Moor Murders. It was about a couple in England who tortured and killed 5 children in the 60's and left behind photos and an audiotape of one of the crimes. Really creepy stuff. LinkThe male/female dynamic is similar to Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka who raped, tortured, and killed young girls, capturing it on video. Both women claimed that they were abused and threatened and forced to committ these crimes, but the evidence showed they were willing participants (disgustingly, the evidence against Karla Homolka was found too late and she is now a free woman). It's frightening how these people find each other and feed off of each other's insanity.

Susan Atkins, member of the Manson Family, and the one who killed Sharon Tate, is asking for compassionate release from prison due to fact she has a terminal illness (they don't specify what exactly she has). Article is here

She murdered a pregnant woman who was begging for the life of her unborn child, she should die in prison.

Life's a bitch and then you die, Susan. No compassion here.

Ditto that. Why would she think she's entitled to compassion of any kind just because she's dying, when she showed none to Sharon Tate and her unborn child when they were dying (at her hand)?

You guys summed up exactly my thoughts when I read the article. Not to be brutal, but my first reaction was "So, tough shit, I am sure Sharon Tate would have loved to be released from her death to have her baby, but she can't because you murdered her and helped kill many others".
