Obviously being a smartass with that title. I miss Ukelele's thread...

Supposably, lots of people don't know that "supposively" isn't a real word.

I HATE it when people cannot tell the difference between "it's" and "its".
Do people not automatically know that "it's" = it IS? That's why it's called a contraction, folks.

Your / You're & To / Too = Come on, most of us passed 3rd grade, right?
Also, "alot" is not a fucking word! You mean "a lot."

Or There/Their . . . drives me nuts.
There's a silver honda in my town with a custom lettered "Your not me" in the back window. Truer words my man, truer words.

It seems like a total nitpick and one of my friends (I use the term loosely) actually quit speaking to me after I called her on it, but "I could not care less." That's the point of saying this; you care so little it's quite impossible to care less than you do. Yet the entire human population seems devoted to saying, "Oh, I could care less." NO! No. Doesn't anyone else see how wrong that is?
And also, in grocery stores and their ilk, it should be "10 items or fewer" because you can't have less of a countable thing. Target gets it right, at least.

Oh, the widespread misuse of the apostrophe drives me bananas. I just can't deal with it.
Another thing? Signs and ads that put words in quotes that shouldn't be...e.g., "great" pizza. What does that mean? If you want to emphasize great, just underline it or something! Grr. Hate.

Please tell me you can get a picture of that, PLEASE. I will pay money, even more if you get the poor sap who drives that thing. I imagine he's the sort who thinks he's really cool, really hip, and wearing Federline jeans complete with original stank!
