Special K find it, buy it, download it, steal it. It's absolutely worth it. IMO, POTW is even better/worse/insaner than FITA. Why they didn't make a trashy TV miniseries of these books I don't know.

POTW is almost as crazy as My Sweet Audrina. My fave FC is still "Garden of Shadows" which is Grandma Foxworth's story about how she went from normal to batshit.
The books got less crazy after VC died and the ghostwriter took over.

It was only a matter of time. Lifetime will remake remake the trash classic Flowers in the Attic. I fear that is a network that will steer away, and therefore ruin, the seamier, insaner aspects of that book. |

Their recent Jodi Arias movie didn't shy away from the sex and graphic violence inherent in that story and was also surprisingly well acted and written for a pulpy "ripped from the headlines" movie, and the Anna Nicole movie also had its lurid moments. FITA is a whole different animal, though, with Chris and Cathy being underage and related to each other. I never saw the original movie but it did leave in the crazy grandmother trying to kill the kids, right? It was just the incest angle that was completely removed. There would really be no point in Lifetime doing a remake if they were going to do the same thing (though that has never stopped pointless remakes before). |

With the exception of Nurse Ratched as the Grandmother, everything about the original FITA sucked. I look forward to the remake.
