I think the dress looks limp and kind of dirty, but I like the color on her.

Her dress is actually similar in style and effect to the designs of Poiret, the designer being honored last night. Someone did her homework.

I think she was one of the best dressed and most attractive celebs there, judging from the photos I've seen.

I think (and I can't say for sure; just guessing here) she's had reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaally subtle work done. Her eyes and eyebrows look ever so slightly more arched than they did when she was in While you were Sleeping. And let's face it, at 40, everyone has at least a little bit of wrinklage, and some have more than others, so to me her skin looks too good to be true. Personally I think she's the model of perfect plastic surgery, simply because you really can't tell that she's had anything done.

^I never noticed before and thought her skin was the result of good health habits and excellent DNA, but her face last night seemed a little different. Maybe it was how the hair was pulled in the back, but I wouldn't be surprised if she had any work done.
As long as she doesn't go overboard with it and become like Nicole, it's okay with me.

Absolutely - I think she & Susan Sarandon have had top-notch cosmetic surgery, since they both look fabulous but still resemble themselves.

Sandra looks terrific, the makeup is lovely & the color of the dress looks great on her. The girlcrush is still going strong (but I still refuse to see Premonition).

Aw, Happy Birthday! I really like Sandra, she's great. Also love the way she speaks German, she has a Southern German accent when she speaks it! A few years back, shortly after her mother's death, she received some kind of award here in Germany. She held her acceptance speech in German and was so adorable. Then in the end she quoted some old saying and mentioned her mother and you could tell that she was very close to tears but held it together.
