But at the time I heard them, I didn't read it in Contact Mag. I either saw Sandra say it in a tv interview or read it in a Vanity Fair piece. I saw Nicole say her bit in her own separate tv interview. It was yearssssss ago now though. I think they both stuck with me because I really liked the thoughts expressed. Normally I rarely remember this stuff in detail.
Contact Music might have picked it up from archives somewhere but I definitely remember them saying each quote.

I just figured there must have been some more to the quotes than what Contact Music stated. I don't disagree with Sandra, the quotes just seem incomplete.

LOL I can tell you Sandra was talking about how she deals with tabloids. And Nicole was asked if she liked Sandra and how they got along on Practical Magic. Beyond that, my memory isn't giving anything else up.

I don't know what it is, but she looks great in the pictures in Vanity Fair. She doesn't look anywhere near 42.
I also liked how in the VF interview she talked about how she did not want to date her husband at first. She met him when she took her nephew (or possibly god son, I don't remember) to his shop to look at the bikes, and when she got home, there was a message from her manager saying that Jesse wanted her phone number and email address, and Sandra was all, "Great. This guy wants to ask me out and I'm going to have to tell him 'no.'" So she gave him her email address and she politely turned him down when he asked her out, but he kept emailing her, talking about all sorts of topics, and eventually won her over. Though she did insist that the restaurant they went to was within walking distance of her house so she could make a break for it if she wanted to.

I don't find her husband at all attractive, but she seems quite happy, and he must also have a good BS detector! And, yes, it's been true in every company I've ever worked for. The boss's son IS an eejit.

Glamour magazine chose Sandra as one of its "Women of the Year". Here are photos of her at their big event last night. The top part of her dress is pretty but the whole outfit together is pretty awful, imo. She's got some weird Diane Keaton vibe going with the overly-long, masculine-ish jacket, short boots and pumpkin orange cheeks. Still, good for her for being so generous. And I like that she kept it quiet and didn't try to publicize it for good PR (unlike some actors I could mention). On a separate note, she still seems to be crazily in love with her husband and even made a comment about their great sex life. I'm happy for her, even though I can't help but think she and Keanu would be a fantastic couple together.

Am i the only one who find it funny that she's getting an award for giving money quietly to charity. How is it quietly when it was announced how much she gave and who she gave it to.

I meant "quiet" in the sense that it wasn't intentionally broadcast all over the news and blogs, unlike, for example, George Clooney's Oscar goody bag donation, his charity challenge, and other endeavors. He had his PR flack or agent publicized those things all over the place. To me, Sandra Bullock isn't a famewhore. That's all I was implying earlier.

It was announced on the news when she gave to 9/11 and blogs wasn't a big thing back then. My question is, if she wanted to be undercover about her donations why is she accepting an award for giving quietly? George Clooney is not at the same level as Bullock.
