Not only is he a fall guy for the Bloodthirsty Beast, Scooter is a sex freak who, as The New Yorker says, "has a lot to live up to as a conservative author of erotic fiction...." Discuss?

I wouldn't have a problem with it so much if it were any other author-for instance, Stephen King has put some VERY nasty stuff in his books, (the gangbang in It, for example), but the fact that Libby is part of the whole "Family Values" crowd, this pisses me off.
Clinton's a pervert for getting a blow-job from an intern, but Libby writes about beastiality-child-rape, and gets a pass?

This is basically what I have come to expect.

That book sounds really badly written. Twenty years for that? What a dolt. Also, he is quite stupid to call it "The Apprentice" because everything will think it's a Donald Trump book.

It. Sounds. F**king. Insane.
And yet, written by a high-ranking Republican staffer with views on 'Family Values' and 'morality', it contains bestiality and child prostitution - including, as I read, a scene in which a young (literally - a child, the article was leading me to believe) prostitute was locked in with a bear to get 'practice'.
Colour me surprised.

I can't even find this in the remainder bin of B&N. Is it as bad as I've heard?
