I loved In a Dark Dark Wood. I found it really atmospheric and creepy. I know exactly which character you mean that Reese could play although I'd prefer if they kept it British. I have Ware's follow up book The Woman in Cabin 10 on my Kindle but haven't read it yet. I'm saving it for my trip to Jamaica in 2 weeks (also obnoxious)

I recently started reading the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series by Laurie R King. I had dismissed them before as some sort of fan fiction. I got the first in the series, The Beekeeper's Apprentice, at our local library book sale and found it really good. Just finished the 3rd one in the series and found it just as interesting do I guess I'm in for long haul.

I am reading The Secrets She Keeps right now, by Michael Robotham. It's not as good but still very good. Another I enjoyed recently was Watch Me Disappear by Janelle Brown. Each time I thought I had that one figured out, it would twist again.

I just discovered the Ruth Galloway mysteries by Elly Griffith, and am excited to have a new series. The first one was a very cozy, enjoyable read (even if a bit predictable). I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the series.
