Did anyone ever read the Unicorns series? Where they were in Seventh grade I think and had a super exclusive club that even ELIZABETH was in?

Ahhh, thanks, Jibby. And (off-topic, but) while I was checking out that page I linked, I discovered the Fearless[/url] books (also by Francine Pascal), which I read the first 10 or 12 of quite a few summers ago (when they were first released) and then promptly forgot all about. I think I bought them; I wonder if I still have them?

Do you guys remember the first SVT Super Special, The Class Trip? Where Elizabeth hits her head on the ride and goes on an Alice in Wonderland sort of trip to follow Jessica, who was stolen by...um...I think it was the witch from Hansel and Gretel? I loved that book- I would probably buy that one again.

Uh, Dwan? Hate to burst your bubble, but Jessamyn was their great- great grandmother. It was: Alice (who came over from Sweden) And her twins, Elisabeth and Jessamyn. Then Jessamyn gets married to a guy named tailor and has twins named Amanda and Samantha (Yeah, how many Samanthas and Amandas were running around in that era-da'hell?) Samantha dies giving birth to Marjorie, who is then raised by Amanda. Majorie's daughter Alice, marries Ned Wakefield. So Jessamyn was the great-grandmother of their mother. THEIR great-grandmother was Samantha. (Isn't it sad how much I remember?) Also, it was mentioned that Lila's father wasn't her real father? Then how come when Lila's family saga came around, he WAS? WTF? Also, the Wakefields, Ned and Alice, had TWO different meetings. In the saga, he saved her from drowning and she left Henry Patman at the altar for him. But, in the Twins series: Alice is a waitress, and Ned is on a date with another girl. Alice accidentally spills his dinner on him, on her first night on the job, and runs into the backroom to cry. Ned ends up laughing about it, his date is pissed, and walks out on him, and then he goes and gets Alice from the kitchen or something, and they start talking and well, one thing leads to another. And I hated that they killed off Sam-I liked Sam, dammit. Oh, and in the first SVU book, Todd puts the moves on Liz, and that's why they broke up. Jessica's blue dress-was that the one with the low neck (weren't they all?) and handkerchief hem? Because I loves me some handkerchief hems.

Not to cross threads, but I wonder if Elizabeth's peach dress that caused Jessica the sturm und drang to dye her hair black, read Paris Match and acquire astigmatism as an accessory was the same style Liz Patterson was wearing yesterday when Elly came to visit.

Oh, remember when Jessica joined that dating service as Magenta Galaxy and Danielle Frommage? Liz bought this dress that was blue-green and it sound like the most awesome dress in the world.

As a ten year old, I was always so jealous of Jessica's wardrobe.
I loved SVH and SVU (the early books). And I loved Jessica, conceited, manipulative bitch that she was. I always thought she was funny as hell.

Damn, you guys are definitely taking me back! TMI alert: I actually learned about the period(dun, dun DUN!) from SVT when I was around 9 yrs old. Talk about educational.
I too own the Sweet Valley High game and still have it in my room. My brother was always Enid by the way, hee! Have a ton of those books, but unlike you guys here, I don't go by numbers or anything, I just remember the stories or if not the episodes from the tv series.
I do recall Elizabeth having sex with Todd in one SVU book after she had just broken up with her current boyfriend at that time, Tom.

I only read about 10-15 SVH books, but the real joy from me is reading about the series and everyone's reactions. Because that is comedy gold.
I read the Sweet Valley Twins #1 book a bazillion times..."Best Friends." The unicorn club, everything is purple, Elizabeth taking Lois Waller to Dairy whatever-the-hell-it's-called and putting shaving cream on her sundae, blah blah blah. Great. And what was up in SVH with Jessica's "chocolate brown walls"? She would never do that. She would have had pink, pink, pink. Please.
When Tricia's sister Betsy comes to stay w/ the Wakefields after Tricia dies, and someone offers her milk: "Milk! The good girl's drink!" Even in 8th grade I rolled my eyes at that.

Dear sweet god the PURPLE in the SVT series. Anyone else take their Stacie (Barbie's other little sister) dolls and recreate the books? And think god I wasn't the only one who snobbed out on Enid in the board game. Even though TV show Enid was sorta cute.
I remember one SVU thriller where one of the Sorority sisters had a roommate try to take over her life or something, can you say plot remix?
