I've got a short sleeved black button-down, a black circle skirt with cream-colored flowers on it, cream colored slides, and bitchface due to this jackass on myspace that has harrassed me for the past five months. But that's a different thread.

Right now I'm wearing a grey t-shirt , the gold locket that I never take off and plaid girl-boxers from AE. After I get dressed to go to work I'll be wearing a long sleeved, stretchy black shirt, black capris, my fitted army-style jacket, my black sequined tote, a silver painted fake kukui (sp?) nut bracelet and either black sequined flipflops or black ballet flats.

Boot cut jeans, brown belt, comfy slouchy socks, cream sweatshirty-type top with designs, hair in ponytail, 2 wooden bangles. (I'm home today, awaiting the arrival of two of my daughter's friends. Woohoo. Playdate! That means I can relax and not have to play Barbies or Littlest Pet Shop!)

Well, at this moment, I'm still in grimy jeans, old sneakers and a jammy top since I just ran out to grab an egg sandwich and a jumbo coffee for breakfast (don't worry, I had a jacket on over the jammy top, which is actually just a baggy long sleeved t-shirt, so you couldn't see it!)
But I'm about to shower and get dressed to go into the city and hang out, so I'll probably put on:
My Lucky Brand Jeans, which totally flatter my dumpy figure! My black cotton wifebeater tank from J Crew My apple green v-neck sweater from J Crew (yeah, it's a different apple green J Crew sweater than the one from yesterday! I need to vary my color scheme when I go into that store!) My cute navy blue, cream and turquiose Adidas' sneaks. Probably my O-rings and a silver heart charm bracelet that my sister gave me. Small but funky dangly earrings. Swatch Watch

I'm teh hotness, too. Five year old Old Navy pajama pants and a huge Guinness tee (bought on O'Connell Street. Mm-hm). Oh, and a lopsided ponytail and a coffee 'stache, probably.

I'm all dressed for work. Here's what I have on now:
Bright grass green long-sleeved henley shirt from AE Black tank with lace at the bottom from Garage. It's really long so the lace shows. Black dress pants. Gold locket my Grandma gave me.
Before I leave I'll put on:
Black sequined tote Black sequined flip flops Black stretchy beaded bracelets, about five of them.
I think I'm looking OK.

Complete slob right now. Pale moss green light fleece pullover (oversized) and purple/white/pink/green/blue patterned bike shorts. Along with the 3 bracelets, 1 watch, 4 rings, a tiered 3-diamond drop necklace and 2 pairs of earrings that are standard wear no matter what (without one of those I feel nekked, stupid I know).

Along with the 3 bracelets, 1 watch, 4 rings, a tiered 3-diamond drop necklace and 2 pairs of earrings that are standard wear no matter what (without one of those I feel nekked, stupid I know). I don't think it's stupid at all, but then I'm the same way. I never even think about the jewellery I'm wearing because the basic set are like a part of my body. I have about 8 watches but most of the time I wear the same Cartier one I got when I was 14; a chunky, almost wedding-type gold and diamond Tiffany's ring I got for graduating lawschool; and a large diamond/emerald pendant I got from my mother when I turned 21. I almost never take them off, not when I'm going to take a shower or going to sleep, not even when I'm washing the cats or doing some gross pet-related thing. If I take even one of those basics, I feel totally naked and at a loss. Today, I got all cleaned up because a friend was in town from NY and I haven't seen for ages. I took him out for early drinks before he had to meet his cousins for dinner. I'd always had a bit of a crush on him so I wanted to look very feminine and pretty. I wore: Black Sonia Rykiel fitted jacket with gold buttons An old cream and black fitted, sleeveless chiffon sheath from Chloé (I think) Cream-and-black Chanel pumps Cream Chanel bag I also wore 24 Faubourg perfume, pale makeup and one of my favorite crimson lipstick shades from Nars. It ended up being rather a 1940s look, all in all. He looked quite stunned and actually seemed to blink when he first saw me. Which was very nice for the ego. He looked hot, btw, and was wearing one of my favorite colognes. If he didn't have a GF, I swear, I would not have been a good girl.... Anyyyyyyyyyyyyway, now that I'm back in my zoo with my shedding, bleeding, hairy children, I'm wearing my scruffy, ripped jean shorts; a pink long-sleeved cotton top that says, "Hi, my name is 'High Maintenance'" (with the last part in huge bold letters, and which was a present from my sister, who finds it hilarious <sniff> ); big fluffy, slouchy socks, and my hair in a "I dream of Jeannie" ponytail. It was nice dressing as a civilised adult, but it's sooooooooo much nicer to be home and comfy. I'm eternally relieved that I work from home these days because I do not miss pantyhose one bit!

I Britney'd out today. Unwashed topknot, "Questions First, Cocktails Later" message tee, and jeans with hillbilly hemming (as in just walk on them until they fall off).
