I just changed because I'm going out for drinks. I still have the lacy black tank on but now I have jeans on as well as a different bright grass-green shirt from AE. This one is a t-shirt that is a bit off the shoulder so both the top part of my tank peek out as well as the lace at the bottom. I'm also still wearing my sequined flipflops and bracelets. I added black chandalier earrings and I'm taking my small bronze purse. I also have my locket on but I only take that off when I'm at the beach or pool, so just assume I'm always wearing it when I post here.

Snowberry, I love that you have three (or more?) bright green tops from AE.
ETA: Kafka, that outfit sounds so gorgeous and yes, civilized.

Kafka - one of my diamond rings is a wedding ring. I bought it a couple of years ago at Zales for 70% off (regularly $2500, I got it for about $1000), when my tax refund happened to coincide with their sale. It was a "discontinued" style (along the order of this; the one I linked to is similar but not exactly the same). I bought it because I liked it and because I deserve it.

Mine is in the same overall genre because it has that wide look and 3 bands going across. I tried to find a photo of it but they don't have it on the website. The closest would be this ring but in gold and with 2 rows of diamonds going across, sandwiching a gold garland band in the middle. I love that philosophy and I always admire those who have it. I'd love to see some of your other stuff if you have links or photos. At the risk of overusing the word, "love," I simply LOVE jewellery and looking at it. I know the subject is too small to warrant it but I'd be so happy if we had a jewellery thread. It doesn't have to be about the real stuff. Some costume jewellery is simply gorgeous. And the rest is just fun. I guess I feel about jewellery the way you feel about shoes and, according to my mother's numerous stories about me as a child, my obsession started very early. ;D

Eh, I look bummish because all I've done today is go to play practice (otherwise, I would probably still be in my pajamas): flip-flops, jeans that are now paint-splattered, dammit, a pale yellow polo shirt, and a black tank top underneath.
I also put my hair in a Britney topknot as soon as I got home. Hawt stuff, yo!
Last night, I went to some friends' graduation, and I was in love with my outfit. Well, mostly just my skirt: I wore a long black tank top, a lovely lovely cream circle skirt with tulle underlay (that looks like it's from the 60s or 50s, maybe) that I got at Value Village for $2.99, kitten heels, and pearls. Dammit, I wish I could dress up every day.

And being an April baby, my birthstone is a diamond. So you KNOW what I'm attracted to in jewelry stores. Sigh. And not the fake stuff either; my momma raised me to wear the real thing (unfortunately for my wallet!).

What am I wearing? Of course, some Lee One True Fit jeans -- my favorite "barn" pair. There's a rip in one knee (no, Kafka, Maggie didn't put it there , and I've taken an X-Acto knife to the hem so that they're long enough over the heels of my boots. (The only bad thing about this line of jeans is that to get the correct rise in the standard model, I have to order a petite size, the inseam of which is a bit too short.) The paddock boots (ankle-high boots that English riders wear for everyday, as opposed to the tall boots that we generally save for special occasions) are Danskos (I am devastated to note that Dansko is discontinuing its equestrian line -- next to my running shoes, these are the most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet). A pink long-sleeve Gap henley T-shirt. My jewelry is all sterling silver (and, like Kafka's, never leaves my body). (1) Left hand: a narrow wedding ring, with a Celtic-knot band -- given to me by Mr. Sunnyhorse when we were dating -- as a guard. (2) Right hand: a narrow hammered band with four bezel-set garnets, pointy end up, that I got from the Sundance catalog. (3) Left wrist: (a) a 1/4-inch cuff (more like a bangle on me because I pushed the ends together once I'd put the bracelet on), engraved with folk-type flowers, that I bought from a vendor on the bank of the Thames and (b) a 1/8-inch bangle with a monogrammed clasp, given to me by my mother. (4) Right wrist: a 1/4-inch Tiffany cuff (the T. & Co. line) that I bought on eBay. I used to wear all gold, but that went out the window, along with my desire to eat meat and my religious beliefs, right about the time I got divorced. I'm not sure what brought the change on, but one of the characters in Waiting to Exhale (the book) summed it up well for me -- she thought of silver as somehow being purer. I like it because it reminds me of moonlight and flowing water.

I'm in a Gap tank top and plaid pajama pants. I'm packing my suitcases for our big trip to the States and I've not showered yet. Hehehe.

Yeah, you'd better shower, shampoo and shine before you hit our shores, missy! (Hee!)
