I haven’t watched Survivor in ages but I am in for Season 40. They had me at Yul.

I haaaaaaaaaate Edge of Extinction, so I was ready to skip this season, but I ended up watching anyway. I think I hate the Fire Tokens, too, but it's early days yet.
I've watched most seasons, but I have to admit, some of these people are complete mysteries. Sophie? Adam? No memory of them at all. It occurs to me that I remember the earlier-season winners more than I do the ones in later seasons. Some I remember because I loathed them the first time - *cough*Tony*cough* - and would be happy to see them go early. See also: Boston Rob, who I used to dislike but who now bores me to tears, and Parvati. Still love Yul.
Not liking Sandra's supposed fury over Rob's not telling her he'd be in the game, but I suspect that's producer-generated conflict.

Ugh, Ben. I didn't see his whole season, but it sure looked like someone else should have won.
I don't mind the idols so much this season. I just want a season with no HHI, but they don't tell anyone so they spend hours looking for them.
Love the scene with Rob and Parvati laughing over how they should be the #1 targets but everyone is letting them slide.
