It has not even been a month. The final survivors spend like 32 or 33 days. With 6 survivors left, I would say they are pushing week number three, at best.

I thought they said 31 days? I could have been hearing things. I think they spend 39 days there. Why do I know this?!

I heard Jeff say "31 days" as well.
From the CBS site:

When he climbed out of the water I got an Orlando Bloom vibe from him myself. Double sigh.
Jonathan, I'm going to miss you (and your gorgeous blue eyes!) He was a bit abrasive but he was also very smart and very right and his post-show interviews have been nothing but pure class. A graceful 'loser' who happens to be a pretty awesome guy. Triple sigh.

Yeah, the stupid family episode always makes me cry too, even if I hate the people. And it's been a month! It's not like they've been apart for years! Sheesh. I think it's just that they're totally isolated with no comforts of their everyday lives, they're cold, they're dirty, they're hungry, they're barely sleeping, and they're surrounded by a dozen or so total strangers who are constantly plotting against them. In that situation, I would barely be thinking rationally enough to tie my shoelaces, let alone having to do nothing but think about a game 24/7. Sure, under normal circumstances, I've not seen my family for a month, but I've also not been sleeping outside or hungry or stuck on an island. I sort of understand why they get all weepy over seeing a family member.

I was surprised to see a promo for this Sunday - the finale of the show. I guess there will be more than 1 person going home this week.

I believe that they're going into the last episode with five people, since Burnett has revealed that there will be a Final 3 instead of a Final 2.

I think that's going to be really lame. And I don't like them messing with something that's so fundamental to the way the game works. Sure, mess around with how the tribes start out, when the merge happens, etc. But Final 3 instead of Final 2 is just wrong.

Why? It's just a game.

I noticed when Ozzy was walking into the spa that someone had drawn little hearts in the muc on his chest--ugh. Parvati is so lame. And I hate that Ozzy could fall for it.
