Interesting turn of events. I liked what they did at tribal council.
Yay, Ibriham!

I don't understand why Ibrehim couldn't get a bottle. It looked like he was trying to untie one, and ran out of air. Did he not realize he just had to tug it off the rope?
I wish, in the future, Survivor and TAR would cast more people like Angie. By this I mean, unconventional in appearance, body type and personality. By unconventional body type I mean she's shaped like most regular people, as opposed to H'wood people.
They had 4 thin, long-haired white girls cast this year. I can't even tell them apart for the first several weeks. Why not a couple of older people of each gender, so that "the old guy" doesn't right away become the target as the weak one. More diversity please.
For once, I would like to see just one hot girl and one hot guy and have the rest of them be regular-looking. Let the pretty people be the minority for once and not have the power. I don't watch Survivor for pretty people; I watch it for group dynamics and personalities. If I wanted to watch a bunch of hotties cat at each other, I'd watch The Bachelor(ette). Which I do not.

Interesting turn of events. I liked what they did at tribal council. Yay, Ibriham! Yes, the tribal council twist was fine. I'm still annoyed with the "you both vote someone out tonight" BS. What is the point of punishing the winning tribe? To me that defeats the point of Survivor, just as bringing back the losers did on another season. They could have sat there and ate, listened and not voted someone out. You could tell they had NO clue who to vote out once Ibrahim was out of the mix. The scare I had when Bobby Jon almost got voted out. Whew.

But they got to eat stew! I bet they had massive diarreah (sp) that night. I didn't want Angie to go because she was a strong player. I'm glad she was a gracious loser though and didn't cop to the "I got voted out because I'm different" excuse.

I forgot about it last night. Angie got voted off? Why? They went to the reward challenge and find out BOTH sides would be voting someone off win or lose. The winner would go to tribal council, vote someone off, and then traipse across the rocks to have beef stew, biscuits and root beer. They also get to listen to the other team's chat with Jeff before they vote their member out. So Ulong wins (again) and they go to council and vote off Willard. (As I said before, I think it is completely stupid that winners have to vote someone off, because, dammit, they are WINNERS!) Anyway, Ibrahim basically lost the challenge for Koror by failing to pull up a milk bottle from the bottom of the sea. He dove down 3 times and came up empty and had to go back. So when they are done chatting Jeff announces that Koror will give one person on Ulong immunity for the night (otherwise known as "the twist"). Koror votes and Ibrahim wins immunity. So now Ulong is confused, because they intended to vote him off and have no other plan. Their vote is tied between Angie and Bobby Jon (why him when you have James?). Then Angie and BJ (oh my) sit out while the other 3 Ulong-ers revote, and Angie loses 2-1. That's how it happened. And I'm sure that is more than you really wanted to know!

Yes, I wanted to put my two cents in on that double tribal council.
What's the point -- indeed!
I even wonder why they had to have so many cast members if they were just going to simply pluck them off so freely.
Remember the opening espisode, when two were cut before they even had a team challenge?

Steph’s decision to go w/ the tie did not make any sense to me. Why even bother swearing to Bobby John if she was just going to lie to him? She knew she’d be stuck on the island w/ him after the vote. Like he’s not going to call her on the vote. He knew it, too. He shot her a Glare of Death when he saw Ibrehem’s name down there for a second time. I hope she’ goes next.
I love how these people think God or Allah or Ra have some sort of stake in Survivor. Like all of the immortal eternals are sitting up there in the sky, smoking cigars and betting on Survivor. Then, once in awhile, one of them cheats and helps their pool pick from being voted off.
Was the subtle meaning behind showing the skinny bird catch the little fishy in the beginning supposed to imply that the fisherman (Bobby John) was going to stab the Hooknosed Gillfish w/ his pincers?
I also love how TPTB give out salt and alcohol as a reward. Diuretics are always good for the tired and hungry.
Ugh! I almost gaffed when I saw the James pixilation. Yech! Right after the GroundCam showed his penis bulge. Blah!! Although, I will have a soft spot for him for his Young Guns shout-out – “Regulators!”
Oh, and what was up w/ the bras hanging in night vision?
