Double post, but it's been a week so I'm doing it anyway! ;D I can't watch this show anymore. It's just unfair. One team is suffering so horribly and the other is living in a great vacation house with the occasional break from their lounging and eating to beat the crap out of a bunch of dehydrated, defeated underdogs. It's not exciting to watch, and it is certainly not fun. If Tribe Poor as Dirt loses the immunity challenge tonight after already losing yet another reward challenge, I am not watching until the merge. If I even watch then.

It's just too painful to watch. I agree. This used to be my favorite guilty pleasure, now it's just ugly to watch.

I just have to believe that Evil Genius Mark Burnett is up to somethig, and that the Haves and Have Nots willl somehow switch or merge. I have to belive that because otherwise this has been a social experiment gone wrong or a reality eperiment gone right.
on the other hand, Cassandra is my unfortunate pick in teh Offfice Survivor Pool, so good for him. I neeeeeed to win!!!!!!!!!

The previews at the end of tonight's episode showed a pre-merge tribe shuffle. At least a few from the have-not tribe will actually get to eat and live in the comfort of Camp Have It All. And a few of those smug bastards will actually have to rough it now.

When I saw that last night, I thought to myself 'maybe the producers have finally caught on that this show is now nearly unwatchable.'
Having one team practically starving and another team living a life of relative luxury is not at all pleasant to watch. To have a physical challenge when one team is well-fed and the other is rapidly losing weight is ridiculous. I actually walked out of the room when they were pushing each other off that surface into the mud.
Remember the season where one team won everything and only Stefanie was left on the other team? Even that wasn't as painful to watch as this season.

I know! At least in that season, it was their own damn faults that they kept losing, and not because the producers screwed them over. This show is just awful and no fun to watch right now.

I think the show has officially run out of steam. Like you all, I hate the haves and have-nots bullshit. This is Survivor and part of that is struggling with the elements which one side clearly is not doing. They are not "surviving", they are living better than many in this country do. Totally not fair at all when the other side looks like they are at deaths door.
I have stayed away from spoilers so I hope things change next week with the merge. I am unsure if I will even tune in anymore. I am still rooting for Yauman or Earl to win this thing though.

Yes, I feel sort of the same way. I don't care that the next new show is not going to be aired for a couple of weeks. In previous season, I would be chomping at the bit to see the next episode.
I am also rooting for either YauMan or Earl to win. The rest of these folks are not particularly likeable.

After watching this week's episode, I just want to see Lisi and Stacey get bitchslapped big time. I don't like Dreamz, but the way they were treating him (not talking to him, not showing him how to use the coffee press) was vile. Juvenile much?

Your Greecie reminder:
Survivor: For Richer For Poorer returns tonight on CBS at 8 PM Eastern / Pacific.
One last hope that Evil Genius Mark Burnett has a spectacular twist up his sleeve, or I might be quitting this show, too.
(as have many others, since I found the thread at the bottom of page 3)
