Watching a tribe slowly die is awful and sad and doesn't make for good TV. Don't think there is any hope for them though...

Well that's it, a tribe of one. Poor Steph. But I'm still glad they let it dwindle down to one. I wonder if they changed the gameplan midway when that tribe showed it was going to implode challenge after challenge.
Bobby Jon, you will be missed. Your hotness will be missed. And your sweetness. I loved your goodbye message. You go BJ!
And you too Coby. Way to win, you really surprised me, I was thinking you would be a wimp. Boy was I wrong. Loved it when he said "I'm too much of a feminist". All I could think was, yes, you are a hell of a lot more of a feminist than I am!
ETA: Disgusting challenge, I was eating and couldn't even watch. Well, I wouldn't have watched it even if I wasn't eating. Just gross. But another great reward.

I was kinda bummed when Steph interviewed how smelly and gross Bobby Jon was ... and how they have nothing in common and nothing to talk about. They're both so attractive and cool, it would have been fun to see some romance bubble up there.

Oh, Bobby Jon, what can I say? You were seriously my favorite Survivor ever. You're not a famewhore or a giggling idiot. Where did they find you?
I'm so mad that they made the tribe do an individual challenge to break it down to one. What good will Steph be for challenges when she's exhausted by having to do all of the camp work, plus probably not sleeping very well all by herself. In every other season, there has been a merge at 10. Just to make things more dramatic and "up the ante", Mark Burnett decides to make them implode. I don't find it amusing in the least.
Did you see Bobby Jon's face when Jeff announced that Tom had won the tie breaker? Man, I was ready to cry right along w/ him. Personally, I would have made myself puke right before having to go up for the tie breaker. I think it would have been easier to stuff those things down on an empty stomach.
I really hate everyone on Koror now, if only on principle. They're all so well fed and strong. It's really not fair. Yes, I know, Ulong lsot their challenges fair and square, but once Koro got so far ahead of them in the food/shelter/comfort department, it was really no contest.
Did I see a shot of Steph w/ a new buff in the "Get your Survivor buffs!" promo there at the end? How could they not merge now?
I've always wondered - how do the tribes know to get to challenges on time? Do they have a watch somewhere in camp? Does the production crew tell them?

I absolutely love this season's Survivor. There're just so many great characters to watch.
My heart went out to Stephanie when she was confessing how lonely she felt on Ulong, and how hard camp-life has become. And Poor Bobby Jon. His frustration at always losing to Tom was both sad and funny at the same time, because Tom is just so awesome. He looked like he was going to start murdering people when he lost the RC though. I would have liked a merge to happen so that Steph & Bobby Jon might have a chance to continue further into the game. But another part of me kinda liked the fact that TPTB had the nerve to allow a tribe to dwindle its way down to one.
As for Koror, I'm still loving Tom and Ian - I hope that their long-term plan ultimately works out. Tom's "watch out for the beak" comments during the RC was hilarious. And while I'm not a huge fan, I admire the fact that Coby has been doing so well in challenges. Winning all the time has its consequences though - it definitely looks like things are going to blow up next week re Coby/Tom, and I think many of them are chomping at the bit for the tribal politics to start and dynamics to shift. I have to disagree that the contests are unfair. Kuror has earned all their rewards fair and square, and let's face it, Ulong has done poorly a lot of times because they don't use their brains, not just because the other tribe has better food/shelter. Bone-headed moves include: voting off Jeff instead of Kim, voting off Angie instead of James, building their SOS signal so close to the tree-line, nominating Bobby Jon to be the caller during last episode's IC ... Even the gross food challenge this episode could have been won if Bobby Jon hadn't so hastily shoved everything into his mouth. He pretty much lost to Tom because he couldn't swallow everything into his throat without gagging. Circumstances have definitely played a part, but I think Ulong pretty much engineered their own downfall.

Wow. Can I marry Stephenie? Never mind the fact we're both hetero girls. I really felt my heart break for her tonight and for next week. But she continues to be just awesome and puts her heart and soul into all the challenges.
Aww, I like Coby. One of my best friends is gay and he had hard times in junior high and HS, too. People would rag on him so hard for being girly. Coby kind of reminds me of my friend.
I hope that they finally merge next week so Steph can have a fighting chance. If not, that immunity challenge will be do or die.

I am so hoping she can go all the way. Favorite Survivor castaway ever.

It'd be a nicw twist if she started picking off Koror one at a time. Won't happen as long as Tom's there, but I can dream.

Can I just say how much I hate Tom and all his know-it-all smugness? God I hope he's not in the final 2. I'm sorry but they should have just divided up the 55 gallons of water and let people do with it what that wanted to. How dare he decree that they shouldn't waste it on showers? And no one wants to stand up to him because they don't want to single themselves out. I owuld have taken the risk and demanded a shower. How much water could you waste if you turned in on for 2 seconds to get wet, soaped up, and then turned it on for a few more seconds to rinse?

It seems to me that they could clean up just as well in the ocean. Sure, the salt water wouldn't be as clean as fresh water, but really, how long is the cleanliness of one fresh water shower going to last, compared to a salt water shower? Not that I'm trying to defend Tom, since he's getting on my nerves, too, but I can see his point in wanting to save the only readily drinkable water for actual drinking.
