The delicious irony was that U&J and M&G would have been content with their later flight, but Rob actually planted the idea in their head to find an earlier one. Heh.

I was terrified that R&A would have the gnome with the plane on it, because they have such a horseshoe up their ass all the time.

Ideally, U&J would have had it to make up for shaving her head for a frickin' two minute lead. What the heck was that?

I have absolutely nothing against Rob and Amber, but boy howdy did I love seeing them get their asses smoked by the geriatric duo. Does that foot in your mouth taste good Rob?

I still can't stand Gretchens voice but I was impressed with her last night. I can't believe she made it to the top. Go Gretchen!

Heh. Sucks, don't it Rob? The best part is that it wasn't just him thinking "We got the best flight" but he was the one who put the bug in their ear about checking for other flights. No one to blame but yourself there, buddy.

Gretchen is one tough old lady, but I do wish my tv would automtically mute whenever she came on. I am truly amazed they have made it this far.

Uchenna and Joyce are awesome. They are the team I am pulling for. Ron needs to get away from Kelly as soon as possible. He seems so good-natured and she's just so sour.

I wouldn't mind Rob and Amber if it weren't for the fact that I hate the idea of recycling reality "stars" and I hate the fact that with CBS airing their wedding in a few weeks, they've basically become celebrities and I have seriously grown tired of this whole "famous for no good reason" phenomenon that's been going on.

I am so enjoying this Amazing Race. I was really debating watching after after Playboy bunny and wife abuser Jonathon. But seeing everything come apart for Rob is just too much fun. And I like him. You have to admire Team Shady Pines (great name!).

I read that for the next Amazing Race they were taking applications for teams of 4. 1 of the members having to be 21 and all the other teammates having to be over 8. Has anybody else heard about this? For a Family Amazing Race but any combination of people can apply - friends, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.

However, I think a lot of his comments to Ron and Kelly about how lazy and stupid (not sure if he used the word stupid - but he implied that they were lacking in intelligence when it came to racing) Uchenna and Joyce and Gretchen and Meredith were was stemming from the fact that he was thinking that U/J, M/G had jumped ahead somehow. His comments were, IMO, more of the "trying to convince myself that I did not totally screw up somewhere along the way and am still in the lead even though I have a sinking feeling that I am in the bottom two" instead of the supremely cocky "I am truly the greatest racer ever and can trash every single racer because I will always come in first!" variety.

Whatever gets you through the night, I guess. From where I was sitting, he looked like a supremely arrogant jackass who thinks he's better than his competitors. There's nothing about that guy that says he's anything but completely serious about how fond he is of himself and his ability to fuck people over just for the fun of it. It was a beautiful thing to see the look on his face when the ferry driver told him two other teams had already passed by. I hope his arrogance continues to backfire on him. What a fucking tool.

Thank you for saying what I've been screaming from the rooftops since Survivor All-Stars. He's an asshat. Can't stand him. I was jumping up and down with JOY!! when they came in 3rd.

But don't you think Rob knows he is an asshat and tries to play it up for the cameras/ his own amusement? He doesn't mind playing the villian (and knows that it makes good television) so I think he takes his natural inclination to jerk people around one step further.

I know that part of why I am rooting for Rob and Amber is because of their (mainly Rob's) appearance on ASS. I have to wonder if they had been just another couple racing around the world if I would giggle at Rob's antics or be unamused and rooting full force for a nicer couple like Uchenna and Joyce. I just don't know. I admire good racers who work well together and Rob and Amber are that, at least. FWIW, I also rooted for Jon and Kelly (who said much more hurtful things about other racers than Rob has said, IMO) and Colin and Christie. I think I like reality assholes.

Sorry, ThursdayNext, I think Rob's just doing what comes naturally. He is a good competitor/racer, but that doesn't take away from the fact he's an ass.

I loved watching Rob's little mind game blow up in his face. You can't stir up the shit without getting some on you. I like watching him play and I think that this asshole thing is a persona for the game (any game, actually).

I think he could be a fun guy to have a beer with, I just wouldn't want to play pool with him because I'd be almost certain that he'd move the cue ball around or make a sudden noise just as I was going for a shot.
