He is? But isn't he ga- Oh. Perhaps, but doesn't that seem like a big fat requirement these days? I thought this episode was brilliant, sheer genius. I wonder if the clams will attempt to go after them based on their lame old "proprietary information" and "church secrets" argument that they wheel out whenever someone reveals the Xenu story. They gave away the whole thing, with the hysterically funny "This is what Scientologists actually believe" caption running the entire time. It was priceless. I haven't laughed that hard in ages.

No, not yet. I am sure they will one day.
A question about last night's episode. I know that they replaced all the crew names with John or Jane Smith. But couldn't the clams and their sue happy lawyers sue Comedy central for playing the episode? I am sure they will claim slander or something to that matter of idiocy. Is anyone else doing a "countdown to a lawsuit"?

I've been wondering about this - I really think that what SP did was almost too public for that, and suing them would cast the church in a seriously bad light.
I suppose they could sue about revealing the Xenu stuff, but then, a "Church Official" went on the Today show a few weeks ago and completely denied the entire "aliens" thing. So suing Matt & Trey would pretty much mean admitting that they lied on the Today show and that the Xenu stuff is true (thereby revealing all the church secrets). I suppose they could sue for calling them a "scam" but I really don't think they'd get too far with that. Anyone can go on TV and dump on a religion or other organization. The rest of what they said - the personality tests, the E meters, Dianetics, etc., is all true. And if they do sue them, then they completely prove the point they made at the end of the episode. I really think Matt & Trey pulled no punches and left no wiggle room for the clams to step in and get 'em.
"Tom Cruise better come outta that closet or else I'm gonna cap this biiiiiiiitch!"
