Oh my GOD, I love this show! If you ever saw that documentary by the Amazing Randi who debunks crap that takes advantage of people, then you will LOVE this show.
Come on, I can't be the only one who gets a kick out of this show, am I?

I enjoy the show too. After every show I have new facts to add to my ever-growing file of useless knowledge. When is the next season going to start? The one thing I hate about original programming on premium channels is that they have such long hiatuses (sp?)
ETA: Bullshit! is indeed the name of the show. Although TV guide always calls it BullS**T.

Yes it is, Tofu. The reason it's called that is--ironically--so they can't get sued for libel.

It's pretty brilliant as well. Seriously, go to Netflix and get the first season (only 3 discs) and tell me it's not wonderful. I like how they're not afraid to do both liberal and conservative sacred cows...okay, they bash conservative more, but they also take down a lot of stuff.
In short, they're now on my short list for personal heroes.

My favorite episodes are the ones that debunked psychics (something I actually tried myself), New Age mysticism ("Stretching!!!") and of course, the infamous Bible episode in which we learned that Elvis didn't do no drugs.

Oh, you mean that episode when P & T debunk the Bible by pointing out its fallacies and then test people on the street about their knowledge of the Ten Commandments and one of my favorites, about how 'long hair on men is travesty.' Then they pull in the common representation of Jesus. Beautiful. I love that 'Elvis didn't do no drugs' saying. That's my nw phrase when I see outright ignorance.

I just wacthed the Recycling episode. They even eased into it, knowing they were going to ruffle a lot of feathers. They give you the facts and let you take it in. Taking on an issue like recylcing wasn't easy. It's not a dismissable, "Those crazy (insert fringe group of your choice)!" subject.

Indeed, I liked how they debunking the landfill myth. What's more surprising is that I knew what they were saying was true because the landfill about ten miles from my house doubles as a park. Sure, it's a huge hill in the middle of flatland but it's all covered with grass and stuff and doubles as a park. It's really neat to sled down in the winter, actually.

The recycling episode pissed me off. Not at P&T of course but at my stupid city that fines us if we don't recycle just so they could take it and not recycle it themselves!
Was that also the one where people kept signing the petition to ban water? Don't they still teach the periodic table in school?
The episode about profanity has to be one of my favorites. Santa Vaca! (I think I spelled that wrong).

OK, help me! Is this show still on, and if so, where? I searched on my Tivo, but it came up with nothing. WitchyPoo, you said you "just watched." Does that mean it's currently running, or do you just have it saved somewhere?
Mr. BG loves P&T, and it sounds like an interesting show. How can I catch it?
