I can't find it on my listings either, but I did see it at my Blockbuster as well as Netflix.

::grins sheepishly:: My TiVo coughed it up today. Looks like several episodes coming up in the next few weeks. Thanks!

TIVO had it listed as Penn & Teller's Bullshit, not just Bullshit. Maybe that will help.
The water epsiode just killed me, essence of cat pee indeed..
As an atheist and skeptic (yes, I have a subscription) P&T are well known for debunking among the skeptic world and are frequent speakers/supporters.

I loved the creationism and armegeddon episodes. The AA episode was truly enlightening, I knew there was holes in AA's aproach, but I had no idea how detrimental to treatment they were.

I've seen the majority of the first season via "On-Demand". I just got the DVDs and can't wait to see the ones I've missed.
Favorite moment? Exposing John Edwards, aka "The Biggest Douche in the Universe". Warms my cold little heart.

I've been trying to go on their website and suggest a topic for a future episode. My bitch? Lie Detector Machines. Despite their use on talk shows and everywhere else, do you know they cannot be used as evidence in a court of law? They're too unreliable... That, and I'd love to see P&T take on Maury and show him to be the ineffectual little poseur that he is.

My problem with this episode was when they said at the end that you can stop drinking all by yourself; nothing wrong with support at all, however some AA meetings DO emphasize religion too much, there are plenty meetings for atheists and agnostics but they didn't look into them. I did like the episode about animal rights activists. I think the point of their show is that anything taken too far can make people crazy.

Neurochick, actually the point of them saying that was because the recovery rate from AA was 5% and going cold turkey was....well, 5%. The point was that either way they did it the addicts had the same choice. The only difference was that AA enforced religion and was recognized as being the true way to do it. So P&T weren't being heartless at all, they were just saying statistically it was the same. Honestly one would be better off just going to a doctor and taking that pill to take the effects of the alcohol off/induce sickness.

For the detrimental aspect AA was blocking other programs from treating alcoholics.
You've got to like they're equal opportunity offenders and take on some tough subjects, like second hand smoke, and not just easy ones like penis enlargement.
