I'm not sure if this is better or worse than the Buttons outfit for the Panto. ETA: I'm... not really sure what to say about this. Except that I can't stop laughing.

That - is very, very wrong. So what does it say about me that I want to see it very badly?

I finally saw last year's Christmas special. I don't understand how I missed it. MY GOD that man is SO SEXY. When he was going on about not knowing what kind of man he was I kept thinking "sexy man, sexy man" especially when he winked at Rose. I was very disappointed in the PM. I laughed out loud when the PM asked what blood type the Royal family had and found out that they were all up on the roof. Heh.
P.S. David looks great in heels. Not many men can say that.

And then, to top it all off, he saves the world in his pajamas! Well, Harold's pajamas. ;D He's even sexy when he's bringing down the PM. And the scene where he picks out his clothes! That's such a great scene. And the song! And his regenerating hand (you're not watching Torchwood, are you? Because I hope it is not too much of a spoiler to say that the hand plays a role in it)! And "no second chances." Ooh, it's just so good! "Is that the sort of man I am? Rude and not ginger?"
I also love how big the ninth Doctor's clothes are on him at the beginning. Aww.
Oh, and there are a few places where one could hypothetically download the whole show that has the drag skit in it. It is definitely worth watching.

I love that he saved in the world in his PJs. That was brilliant. I was wondering if some of the outfits that he was considering were previously worn by other doctors? They looked familiar but I didn't watch Dr. Who until the latest incarnation.
I thought that the whole "Am I ginger?" scene was wonderful, too. It really does have to be extremely disconcerting to come back into another body. Isn't the Torchwood hand the one that can regenerate or reanimate anyone/anything?

No, I'm talking about the Doctor's hand -- the one that got cut off and fell to Earth.

No, I'm talking about the Doctor's hand -- the one that got cut off and fell to Earth. Right, I knew that they had a hand at Torchwood with powers and I vaguely remembered that the hand could bring people back from the dead. Was it the Doctor's hand?

No, that's more of a glove (the "Risen Mitten," as Ianto calls it). It's a metal glove that can resurrect people. But Jack has somehow acquired the Doctor's amputated hand (from the fight with the Sycorax, when his hand fell to Earth with the sword and then he grew a new one -- "a fightin' hand") and keeps it in a jar. It plays an awesome little role in the season finale (which made me squeal with glee for about an hour). It's also a minor plot point in one of the earlier episodes.

Since we don't have Torchwood yet, I'm way behind. I hope that someone picks it up soon or I'll just BUST. After he had his hand cut off all I could think of was the Star Wars scene where Darth Vader cuts off Luke's hand and then the "Luke, I am your father." line. I just couldn't imagine that the Sycorax was the Doctor's father, however.
