Seriously! Marcus has been kind of invisible all season, but when he was talking to Verne like that, suddenly I was in love with him. And he looked so hot in that cowboy hat, too. Yum...

I've had enough of these freaks. When does the new season start?
I think what hurts my eyes more than the freakishness of these individuals is the garish color scheme of each house...

word to the Marcus-love. He was just so sweet and to everyone too :::le sigh::::
I didn't like Jane and Brat making all nice at the end. And it drove me crazy that it didn't even cross Brat's mind that she's washed-up too. arg...

Me too. Does she think she's up-and-coming or something? Because while I knew who Jane was before the show, I had never heard of Da Brat. Not once. And I'm probably younger than Brat is, too....(checks IMDB)...yes, I am. By eight years.
I thought it was Chyna I'd hate the most in this house, but I ended up feeling sorry for her more than anything. It was Brat I couldn't stand.

I too felt sorry for Chyna. Actually, by the last episode I kind of liked her. She has a big heart. Poor thing is a bit misguided, though.
Adrienne and Chris make a good couple. She's young and he's immature.

Oy... I haven't liked this show since the 2nd season...when decent personalities (Ron Jeremy, Erik Estrada and Tammy Faye) ruled the roost.
As for this last season, meh. Like all the seasons other than 2, it was the jerks that dominated. What made the 2nd season so cool was that the people that were the most outstanding were the older, more secure people. They didn't let Traci Bitch-am get away with being a snot on her first day. They were even around to offer friendly advice to the young 'uns (*cough*Trishelle*cough*). The one thing that sucked about that season is when Vanilla Ice called out Traci for being the bitch that she was and she caught him, he pussied out an apologized ("Oh, I'm sorry...you worked so hard to get where you are...you're not a gold digger...no really, you're not...").

I did enjoy the first two seasons (especially season two!) a lot more than the VH1 versions of the show. Seasons 3 and 4 started out with so much promise but VH1's editors just let the dominant personalities in the house take over. I realize that VH1 want to show drinking and sex to keep the viewers watching, but they can show that AND the more "humdrum" aspects of the house.
I also cannot understand why it took VH1 so long to air the complete series. They lost almost all of their momentum and I pretty much lost interest. Maybe the powers that be were trying to end TSL 4 closer to the start of TSL 5 or perhaps closer to Chris and Adrienne's show.
Oh - Word on the Marcus hotness in the final episode. I wonder if he has always been supportive and kind (and all sorts of other nice things that he seems to be) or if he learned that "beauty is more than skin deep" the hard way. I totally assumed that he would be an arrogant asshole who thought he was too good for the show and the people on the show (sort of like Brat). Instead he came across as sweet, genuine and a true friend and not as someone who needed to be humbled or had been humbled in the past. It seemed like he was a decent guy and had always been a decent guy. I am sad now that we saw so little of him on the show.

ITA w/ the atmosphere of the past few seasons. It's like VH1 is clawing through the dailies, trying to find the most embarrassing, off-kilter stuff they can find, rather than let the housemate's characters carry them. They don't want us to form an opinion that isn't outlandish or droll, so they build the entire show on what they consider to be their edginess. What they need to do is, have the first epsiode of each season a small foray into each character's personality. If something outrageous happens, fine, show it. But don't try to scrape together everything and anything that can be considered risque in a big, jumbled heap, since we as an audience don't really care if a person can be crazy, if we don't know if they also can't be crazy.

Did anyone see the season four reunion show?
Da Brat actually looked like a woman, Verne had been sober for over two weeks, and in the biggest surprise of all Chyna had a new really nice bob haircut and appeared to be sober with human sized lips.

Anyone watch the premiere?
This season is already a comedy classic thanks to The Personality Disorder That Walked Like A Human, a.k.a. Janice Dickinson. She's hilariously, wildly crazy.
My favorite moment was when she calls up her friend after a few hours in the house. "Please...I can't take this...come and get me, now!." And you hear the friend pause and say, "uh...Janice....it's 2 AM...and I'm in New York." I was roaring.
I never, ever thought anyone could make Omarosa look calm and reasoned.
