o/t: I hate when they bring animals into the Surreal houses, because it's probably traumatic to them having to deal with strangers and get treated like just another piece of room decor.

Yeah, no kidding. You know that poor dog was thrown in there for shock value and to add "circus" atmosphere to the house, and not b/c one of the cast members was a dog lover and would fall in love w/ him upon sight. Poor guy. He has to rely on Cadillac Caprice to bring him out once a day.

Oh, and speaking of Caprice, if I hear her "Sweet Talking to Doggy" voice one more time, I'm going to rip my own ears off. Does she think that sounds soothing?

Personally, if Balki was pawing me like he was pawing Janice, I would have freaked out, too. I don't really like to be touched, esp by people I've just met, so his hanging all over her even while she kept telling him to bugger off was grating on my nerves. I can just imagine how she felt. Of course, running off to her room and begging to be taken away at 2AM was a bit extreme, but I can imagine how skeevy she felt after being manhandled, so her reaction wasn't as shocking to me.

Ok..... here is my take on Janice.

I like her. She is really playing her "diva" role to a T. All of her antics on this show are calculated to garner ratings and I really doubt we'll see any of the "real" Janice at all this season. Ditto Bronson and Jose, and to an extent, Omarosa. They know how to play this reality show game. WHY they choose to play the characters they do is beyond me, but you have to admit, it's compelling TV.

Re: Janice and the Sunshine Strikers. How cool do you think those people felt when Janice freakin' Dickenson actually shit-talked them back! Seriously, she treated them all like equal opponents, as she should. She didn't cut them slack because they are challenged, she treated them like she does everyone else. She didn't treat them with kid gloves at all, which is what a lot of the rest her team was doing. It's kind of condescending to not try your hardest and stuff just because you feel sorry because they may be mentally challenged. I liked Janices' honestly bitchy approach because, well, she's honestly bitchy, and at least she didn't try to tone it down for the "special" peoples' sake. (Assorama I'm looking straight at you). I just have to say that from friends I know who have a disability or another, they just want to be treated like everyone else. And shit-talking the other team is F-U-N!!!

Now, that said, it was completely ignorant of her to use the term "retard", equal to calling someone a n***** or a hebe or a spic or something like that. Lame. But I do appreciate that when Bronson whispered in her ear about it, she was instantly remorseful. But I really don't think she was being malicious. Any more than usual, anyway.

Real Janice? IMO, that is the real Janice, bitch aint acting. She's never been any diffrent on interviews, even on Top Model she was a complete bitch.
