It's 6:35 AM here in NYC, and I'm watching an old re-run of Bosom Buddies, one of the best and highly under-rated sitcoms on TV. Aaah, the good old days when Tom Hanks was still funny! I loved that show so much when I was in High School. Yet it's been farmed out to a 6:00 AM and a 6:30 AM Saturday morning rerun, when the only people who can see it are people who really can't sleep.

I have to catch Wild n' Out every time it's on. I know it's a rip-off of Whose Line is it Anyway? and I'm now too old for MTV, but it's hilarious and addicting anyway.

I gleefully watch Tomorrow's World when I chance upon the 3 am airing on Vision. Roderick Meredith going on and on about his "The world's coming to an end because the Americans and British and British-descended residents of Canada and Australia and New Zealand aren't following the Bi-ble" thesis [the inflection he gets on that "i" in Bible cracks me up.] Am I going to Hell? Well, if he's right, definitely. But that's where all the cool kids are going to be anyway. And was it wrong to find it funny that Jimmy Swaggart follows several hours of "Girls Gone Wild"/"GGW" knockoff infomercials on Spike?

One of my guilty pleasure shows is this local Christian show called Crossing Paths. One of the old guys that host the show used to be a womanizer and sounds like Cindy Brady; the other guy has an oddly shaped head, almost like an oval.
And how can I forget the other Christian masterpiece Way Of The Master? I love to watch with morbid fascination the episode where Kirk Cameron tries to convert these dudes who looked like they were going to beat him to death if it weren't for the cameras and all those people around, even though I've seen it a million times.

Oh, thank God I'm not the only one. I used to think, "Gee, he's pretty (this was pre-"Angel" bloat), but he's not a very good actor." But I really like him in this -- he's ... animated! He ... has more than one expression! It's amazing. I know a lot of people can't stand Emily Deschanel, but I like her too -- she reminds me a TON of a friend of mine. I TiVo tons of shows and end up never bothering to watch them, but I do make sure I watch "Bones" every week. I am a nerd. I'm glad it'll be back next year.
Other guilty pleasures for me: I enjoy "Golden Girls" reruns and am a fan (read: addict) of "Lingo" on the Game Show Network. Also? I know tons of people find her annoying, but I like Rachel Ray and looove to watch "30-Minute Meals." She always seems so happy! Sue me. I think she's cute. Although if I have to watch her put peanuts in some random wacky thing one more time or hear her say "Yum-o!" I'm going to barf. Although I have caught myself saying "EVOO" more than once.

I also like the Christian shows- specifically the one with the lady w/ the giant bouffant. I can only watch about 15 minutes at a time and it usually when I am trying to go to sleep, but I am strangely fascinated by her. And the singing. "Noooothhing can save yeeuuuu but JJJEEEEEESSUSSS!"

I didn't see a thread for the show but it's one of my guilty pleasures so i'll add it here. Ghost Whisperer .There I said it. It's cheesy and the JLH irks me but I don't miss this show each week. And tonight was no exception. Very sad, made me bawl. God I'm a wuss. I'll slink out now.

I was completely shocked at the ending. A search online brought me to a message board where they had all figured out the ending LAST WEEK. I don't know how I missed the clues. It's a good show. I agree, JLH irks. Next season ought to be interesting considering how they ended it this year.

I've been netflixing the Highlander TV show. It's oh so cheesy, but I love it.
I like playing "spot the guest actor." Joan Jett, Traci Lords, Vivian Wu, Anthony Steward Head (!), and Jason Isaacs (!!) among many others.

I've always been a closet "Golden Girls" fan. I just like Betty White.
