Next guilty pleasures: Family Guy - I have no idea why I turn TBS on every Monday and leave it on. This show is childish and gross, but if I see it's on, I'm sitting on my loveseat like a schmuck.
Futurama - Again, I don't remember when or why I started watching this show but dammit I have to watch it when I find it's on.
ETA - When I was a shift nurse, I used to watch Days of Our Lives occasionally. It's educational. I now know what to look for when someone's dead but they're really on an Island somewhere. I know that Evil People never really die, they just keep showing up being all evil. I know how to tell when people are possessed by Satan. And I know that when I'm standing four feet away from someone, I can have a conversation with myself about the babies I switched and the evil schemes I've done and they won't hear me. I was learning, dammit!!

I was going to say the same thing, EvilMinion! And I'm surprised Family Guy is a guilty pleasure too, especially since people actively lobbied to get it put back on air...and succeeded!

I'm addicted to The People's Court. I want to be Judge Milian when I grow up (says the 35 year old child). I have it Season Passed on my TiVo and I have to stop myself from watching it as soon as I get home from work. I wait until Sunday (my day) and watch 5 episodes & 15 cases in a row. It's pure bliss. They air it here 3 times a day too! Though I only TiVo one of them because the other two conflict with other shows. I can't even begin to imagine the Heaven I would experience if I could watch 15 episodes and 45 cases on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Futurama is a guilty pleasure? Again, it is for me. I love the old episodes of The Simpsons but dismiss all other adult "cartoons" as crap. Then I started watching both Futurama and Family Guy just recently. And they've sucked me in. And I still have no idea why.

Futurama is a guilty pleasure? It is not! It's high calibre viewing, goshdarnit! That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Futurama made me cry. The episode about Fry's dog? You know, how the dog waited and waited and waited him to see him again and never did? I'll admit it, I was sniffling like a little girl at the end. That's some good writing right there! So no, it's a good show, not a guilty pleasure.

Are you me? Because I can't watch that episode anymore. Makes me cry every time. I'm getting a little misty-eyed just typing this.

Between our mutual love of Mike Rowe and our emotional crisis over Fry's dog, we may well be the same person, tinyshoes!
Hmm, guilty pleasures. Oh! Man, I love love love watching the Spanish networks (Telemundo, Univision, etc) at 3 and 4 in the morning. My Spanish is terrible, so it makes everything even more nonsensical. It's like "There's a middle aged woman dressed as a baby doll! There's a guy in a jail-bird costume! Hey---is that a pirate? Oooh, Vincente Fernandez infomercials are on now. I may have to buy his greatest hits collection!" It's a sickness, I tell you.

Oh I love the Spanish channels. I always stop on the game shows with adults riding tricycles through dumb obstacle courses and the random girls in bikinis dancing. There is a show called "Chicas en Bikinis" that comes on, and that's all it is. Girls in bikinis dancing and looking bored. It's mesmerizing.
