Two of my fave Lifetime movies (they may have originally aired on network tv) are the one with Meredith Baxter Birney as a bulemic and the one where Jennie Garth plays the abused wife of Gregory Harrison. Some great one liners in those.
Ed Asner plays the doctor in the bulemia movie. As he's explaining to the very confused husband why his wife passed out and is now hooked up to tubes in the ER, he gives the most succinct answer to, "What's wrong with her?". He responds, "She vomits." Gets me every time.

Meridith Baxter Birney is the QUEEN of Lifetime. Her Betty Broderick movies make life worth living. There is nothing better on a shitty weekend then coming home and watching the crazy on a Sunday afternoon. "ARE YOU WITH YOUR WHORE NOW, DAN."
Those movies rock my socks off.

Okay, don't hate me, but since this is the guilty pleasures thread I will confess, I watch the Tyra Banks show (yes her talk show) and I like it. It's even on my Tivo.

I don't have cable anymore, but dammit, I want to know how Flavor of Love 2 ends!

I'm on my fourth episode of the Flavor of Love marathon. Not kidding. I think I need to start volunteering or something.

Not to make light of bulimia, because I know it can cause lots of health problems, but I seem to remember a scene where her character goes to a party and starts binging uncontrollably, and her throat explodes or ruptures. Even as a clueless kid watching that I thought it was ridiculous. Speaking of guilty pleasures, this morning, I ate left over tacos for breakfast and watched The Three Stooges.

Just started watching The Girls Next Door. They just seem so harmless, and don't take themselves seriously (I'm watching the episode today where they're dressing up their dogs for a birthday party). I even like goofy Kendra. She just seems an unlikely, tomboy girlfriend who lucked up on a good thing. It's odd and weird and I can't change the channel.

Anybody else watching The Librarian? I know someone watched the first one, because they made a sequel. There's an all new British love interest for him to bicker with and then fall in love with. I liked the last one.

I can't stop watching that show and I just found it about a month ago. I like Holly & Bridget but Kendra's special blend of dumbass is more than I can handle.

The funniest bits on The Girls Next Door are Bridget playing with her animals. When her cat got shaved and she dresses up her pets it's so hilarious. They seem to hate her.
