I have quoted that last sentence so many times.

Here is a story in today's Onion AV Club on Simpsons quotes in daily life.

A few of those quotes are definitely in my lexicon.

Last night, for the first time, I used teeth whitening strips. The whole time I was wandering around, checking to make sure they hadn't shifted and shooting spit out of my mouth every time I tried to talk, I kept wanting to quote Principal Blackman from Strangers with Candy: "I suggest massive amounts of selenium sulphide. It makes the teeth . . . translucent."

Someday I will say that. Oh yes, I'll get my chance.

I, along with my sister, am a huge fan of Arrested Development. My family doesn't get us AT ALL.

Whenever someone asks us how we are we always give them: "Incredible! I'm having an incredible year!" and then hold out our hands for a high five. "Right up top."

Or whenever there's a long silence in the conversation: "Ten cents gets you nuts."

When someone makes an outlandish statement, or gets too worked up about something I always say: "Lets hope it doesn't come to THAT."

Whenever someone winks or makes a strange face: "I wonder how I can talk you out of ever making that face again."

When I was sick as a frakkin' dog a couple weeks back and high on Robitussin Cough Gels, I'd been saying "Robitussing Cough Gels can make your car fly," to paraphrase my all-time favorite line from The Sarah Silverman Program. She was referring to orange cough syrup, though.

Every time I have to use my partner's signature stamp I think to myself "Sherman - T- Potter" in the nasal Klinger does Potter voice.
