So sad, so sad, I guess no one watches this anymore.
I know I haven't!
I watched the season opener and was so irritated with Sam I haven't gone back.

I did tape last nite's though for John Leguizamo, who I love, even if I can't spell his name. Somebody let me know, should I bother rewinding this and check it out?
Or will my irritation ruin my mood for the weekend?

I've always been one who watched the show during the crappy seasons as well as the good ones, out of habit more than anything else. But I have to say that i like the way they're taking the show this season. Last year, you wondered how any patient got out of the hospital alive, because it was staffed by nothing but lazy slackers and self-involved people. This year, they're shaking things up by bringing in some no-nonsense work horses, and I like it. Still 5 years and counting waiting for a good storyline for Luka, but you can't have everything.

One mystery I can't figure out - has Carrie's crutch suddenly dissappeared without explanation, or is it there and I just didn't notice it?

I liked it last night. What I didn't like was to hear that Susan left the show again.

I'm sorry that Susan is gone again, but they struggled so much to give her character anything meaningful, that I wasn't as upset by this departure as the first one. They brought back the actress, but she was never really the same character again, if that makes any sense.

It's funny, I didn't realize I missed ER until I logged on and saw that the season premiere had aired. We moved overseas this summer and don't seem to be getting any recent ER here. We get some oooolllllld re-runs though, circa Doug Ross before he and Carol got back together. It was such a great show then. When you look back that far you also realize how much Carter's character developed over the years. I saw the episode the other day where he is introduced to Glenn Headley, who is some awesome pediatric surgeon that Benton is working with. Carter starts sleeping with her pretty soon.

I loved John Leguizamo's addition to the cast. I'm loving the season so far.

Me too SecretSquirrel. I also like the addition of the chick from 3rd Rock from the Sun and I can't wait to find out why she was let go from her last job.

Also, what reason did they give for Susan being gone? I must have missed it.

Susan took a tenured position elsewhere (Iowa, maybe?) Logical for her to go, since it seemed to be pretty clear that County wasn't going to offer tenure.
