I binged through it at the beginning of the pandemic (on HULU) and yeah, the first 6 seasons or so are still fantastic dramatic television. It still entertained throughout the series, but became more of a bed hopping soap opera towards the end.
And there are a LOT of future famous people who checked in to County General.

Love’s Labor lost. Women still die in childbirth and as a healthcare worker it always reminds me how the most mundane situation can just explode.

I’ve just downloaded All4 player, Channel 4 UK. Player, which I thought like the BBC IPlayer wasn’t accessible in ROI but it is and it has all the episodes of ER every season, now I have the first 6 seasons on dvd but that involves such fiddly stuff like getting up, opening boxes and remembering where the dvd remote is Now just at the touch of an app, I’m so tempted to binge.... Edit I forgot Sr Monica Joan was Dr Cordays mother in a previous life!
