I've been watching the show since it first came out with a couple of one year hiatuses. Since it's essentially a soap opera it wouldn't be hard for you to get back into. Also, there was a lot of change with the cast this season -- pivotal characters leaving and new leads arriving. It's almost back to it's original luster and this would be a good season to come back to it.

Goodness, all that big lead up to the wedding of Neela and Gallant and they didn't even show the exchanging of vows. I wanted to see Jerry as Father Superior, working his lines.

Stupid ER writers, the way they throw ACTION! and DRAMA! at us, I was expecting something bad to happen at the very end when they got on the train in the shot that would never end.

I lurves someone getting it on with Luka, but it's like his just ended relationship with Sam never happened. Where is the strangeness of working with your ex storylines?

Soon to be more Carrie downstairs?

Anyone else think Clemente saying he withdrew from the chief race was BS?

Are they making Debunko less crazee?

I think that half the reason that Luka hooked up with Abby is to create the akwardness working with your ex storylines. Working together is one thing ... working with your ex and his new girlfriend is an entirely different level of drama. And when you throw in the rivalry that can be added with Abby having done Sam's job in the past - that can get good.

I agree with you that Clemente saying he withdrew was just his being a jackass to knock Luka down a peg. The rivalry between those two is not over.

I really think the writers want us to forget the whole Luka/Sam thing ever happened, ditto Carter/Abby. Works for me- they were paaaaainful.

I loved Santa Luka. Seeing him smile always makes me melt. And even though it's weird I'm kind of glad that I don't have to be reminded of his relationship with Sam, it always seemed a bit off. I'm glad to see him with Abby again, though after tonight's episode it seems the writers are making it move a bit too quickly.

Speaking of things we are supposed to forget, Abby is an alcoholic and once again she drinking with no consequence.

Do we know what she was drinking? Given that she is an alcoholic, and knew she was pregnant, I'm guessing she was in a bar because her co-workers were there, but was drinking something non-alcoholic. She's done that in the past.

I was going on previous episodes where she clearly had a a bottle of beer.

Wait back up. I missed last nights episod? Abby's pregnant? Is Luka babydaddy? (And also they do lots of scenes of her in bars with friends -- more than with most other charecters. I'm pretty sure it's for us to keep in mind that Abby is an alcoholic.)
